Ok, so we all would like a Hollywood smile eh? Of course! But I didn’t want to look too fake and doll-like, just healthier teeth and whiter teeth would be lovely. I have used various Whitening Toothpastes in the past, which have worked ok but I wanted something with a better effect, something which I could notice working straight away. So, I think I found it….
Price: The price for this product was £1.95 for a 50ml tube. I think this is great and as I only use a little each evening this lasts me a 2-3 months. I purchased this product at my local Superdrug store, as I found many good price offers for various products in here.
Brand: I really had no idea about the ‘Pearl Drops’ brand, apart from a TV advert or two showing gorgeous skinny models with bright Wight dazzling teeth, perfectly straight too! The brand website is: www.pearldrops.co.uk and although doesn’t tell you much about the History of the brand, gives you information on the product range all to do with Oral Care and even makeup tips which is surprising but helpful.
Packaging: The tube comes in a neat little box, the white a blue brand colours stand out and the model on the front of the packaging has brilliant white teeth! Of course! All text is easy to read and in blue which is different. I like the tube the product comes in, it stands on it’s end firmly onto a surface without wobbling. The cap is easy to un-screw and product is easy to squeeze out.
Product: I use this product every evening, I do also use my regular toothpaste before hand so this is just an added bonus if you like. This product is not suitable for children under 7, and includes ingredients such as Pyrophosphate and Cellulose Gum. Lots of ingredients I have never heard of to be honest! The blurb on the packaging say’s the product: ‘Used to maintain the brightness & shine of your teeth for a great smile every day. Pearl drops daily whitening toothpolish helps brush teeth their brightest, whitest, smoothest and shiniest, to give that just from the dentist feeling. It gently helps remove plaque and dull stains left by coffee, red wine, food and tobacco’.
This product also contain fluoride and is recommended to be used everyday.
Use: After brushing my teeth with my normal toothpaste every night, I put a small pea size amount of the product onto my toothbrush and brush away, paying particular attention to my front teeth which have the stains. Instantly my teeth feel so clean and fresh, they are also smooth to run my tongue past. I noticed a whitening of my teeth slightly after the first use and more so as the days progressed. My teeth stains are still slightly there but my teeth are much brighter and whiter than before. The product is white in colour and nothing too strong to taste.
Conclusion: I really like this product, and as the price is such good value for money I never feel guilty about buying it. It’s a great pick me up for your teeth if you are going out on an evening or to use daily as part of a routine. The product was not strong for me, but effective. My teeth are whiter and brighter. I like the easy to use packaging the product is in too, the brand have really thought about the user. I may not have the best Hollywood smile in the world, but hey why would we all like to look the same anyway? And just having my teeth whiter than before has boosted my confidence too.
I saw these on display in my local pound shop the other day and since my teeth look pretty stained I decided I'd pick up a box. Can you guess how much it cost me? Oh you guys are so clever!!!!!! Yes it was just a measly pound and although it comes in two flavours, I went of the fresh mint one. When I opened the box I was expecting to find one of those charts so you could monitor how well your teeth were doing but there wasn't one which made me a ... ...bottle is slightly triangular in shape and it's easier to stand it on it's head as the lid has a wide bottom. The lid screws off easily and the toothpaste comes out of the bottle easily too. I was surprised at how runny the toothpaste was compared with my normal one but that didn't stop me from continuing to use it. It basically slopped onto my brush and started to work it's way between the bristle of the head. I prefer my paste to be slightly firm. ...

I tried Pearl Drops and the stains just disappeared and I found that with regular brushing my teeth got a bit whiter. I was really impressed with the results and use it regularly now.
The stain removal is gentle and after every brushing you can feel how clean your teeth are. If you run the tip of your tongue along them they don't feel gritty. They do feel like you've just had them polished at the dentist.
I didn't believe the claims ... ...at the customers.
Thankfully Pearl Drops whitened my teeth and it really does keep the stains off your teeth, they look naturally white, not like the chemical tooth whitening gel that you find on the market today. Some of these instant teeth whiteners look so artificial and rediculous, they make your teeth look too white.
With regular toothpaste the plaque that holds stains is usually only brushed off for a while, but Pearl Drops seems to protect ...

Advantages: Different flavours spearmint or freshmint which is a nice change when brushing Disadvantages: teeth don't feel as clean i use ordinery toothpaste 1st then brush with pearl drops
I started using pearl drops in the run up to my sisters wedding hoping to give the photographs a little sparkle! I was pleasantly surprised as a smoker and a coffee drinker therefore was not expecting to see much of a difference. My teeth felt intsantly cleaner and had a sparkle to them, after several uses i noticed a big difference in the brightness of my teeth, now i use it everyday and night and have a sparkly white smile!! Until recently I used PearlDrops Whitening Toothpolish on a daily basis - I don't use it daily anymore but on to that later.
The ideal behind this product is that as it states it "Gently removes stains for natural whiteness." Considering my teeth are not in bad condition (no fillings etc) they still needed a bit of whitening.
This is readily available in chemists and all supermarkets and is in very disctinctive packaging and is £2.39 in my local supermarket for a 50ml tube.
The nice thing about this product is that is it in a tube but it has a nice circular lid that the product stands on - you only need to squeeze the tube a small amount and the gravity does the rest - this means the product is standing up on the shelf all the time - quite ingenious I thought.
