Advantages: Nice design and navigation Disadvantages: not enough merchants and products
Altough it is another website using Shopping.com's feed technology, I pretty much like it. The design, navigation is pretty neat, the only problem with it is that there is not enough merchants using Shopping.com, compared to Kelkoo's range - so you will get many if not up to 55% of results from the same merchants over and over again.
One thing I question the owners about is "Why have you not got search boxes on all pages guys?"... This one major ...

I've often wondered what our beloved Ciao could do for me as a consumer, rather than as a contributer or a web community - and I think I've now found the answer. Whilst I would still wish to try things out if I was going to part with my hard earned cash as a guide to what's best on the internet it can't be beat.
The background to this tale is that I was in the states a couple of weeks ago and heard a CD in a record shop which I took a fancy to (Sublime's ... ...that it's their only copy and they are playing it so I can't have it. Back in the UK I start looking in record shops both in the high street and on line but can only find it for about £20 including delivery. So I check Ciao out for price comparrisson sites and pick the top 3 pricechecker, Kelkoo and pricerunner. Do the appropriate searches and success on all 3.
Why I recomend pricechecker is that it came up with a wider selection of stores than ...

I was looking for a film that is about 20 years old now, Raiders of the lost ark.
I had heard about this site called Price checker so I thought I would let the web do the work rather than my tired eyes.
Basically, what Price checker does is find all of the stockists of a particular item and return the results and price on your screen. You can then select which one is the cheapest form th elist and order it!
... ...sites, I was able to search them all in one go from one site!
What more can you ask for?
The cheapest I had found it was for £12 at Amazon. Pricechecker found it for £6 at WH Smith!
I could not believe it! Half price.
But dont think it does just videos. Anything you can think of, pricechecker will search for and probably find you a selection of matches.
It is quite quick too.
You are not waiting for hours while it collates its matches. They ...

I've only ever used pricechecker, looked at the other ones but there always seems to be a lot of faffin to get to the point of doing your search. Pricechecker has the right balance, select the product group and then type in your search criteria - results might not always be spot on but you don't have to enter much or try very often to find something relevant. There is the right balance of ads and 'special selections' too, doesn't blast you with pop ...
