Advantages You see a tangible saving
Disadvantages You have to be very flexible on when you want to travel.
Thats right you can name your own price for tickets and fly with the top airlines. So, you are thinking wheres the catch? And you would be justified to do so. In my experience theres is not one. I would recommend using Priceline if you are flexible with when you want to fly and where you want to go to not forgetting how many connections you want to make.
I flew to Los Angeles but I had to make a connection in Canada. I paid alot less than a direct flight but it added 4 hours on to my traveling time.
Priceline had great customer service, they sent the tickets first class the next day. One of the flight numbers had changed and they notified my immediately and guarenteed that my reservarion would not be affected. They are easy to contact, always friendly and offer good deals.
If your price is not accpeted first try, be patient and increase in low denominations like £10.
Dont forget they will add on taxes to the price you want so bid what you want to pay minus taxes and booking fees.

Quite a good opinion, but I was under the impression the servive provided more than just cut-price airline tickets. Some detail on other aspects would have been welcom, but well-written op,Cheers,Bruce (bwsr2)
