How can I set up my own website to start earning money
I have plans on setting up my own website to try to earn some extra cash. I am confident in HTML/CSS etc and started coding the pages. I had even chosen the domain name, but havent bought it yet. My question is this> How the hell can I make money from affiliate links etc when the cheapest hosting packages I can find seem like it wouldnt be a viable opportunity...
Consider using Wordpress to create website as it is quick, free to use, & easy to customise (1000's skins are free), you can install plugins to improve the SEO. You can also add Google Adsense and other aff links. I suggest you choose a subject for your site(s) & then choose relevant products for it & see if they have an free aff programme - they provide banners etc. Hostgator will host unlimited domains for same price = many sites = more income
The best way to make it viable is to make sure you get plenty of traffic, one way to do this is to make your website show up higher up on search engines pages (search engine optimization) there's plenty of articles on the internet about SEO so i'm not going to explain how to do it, but it's worth a try as long as you've not put alot of money into it to loose.
im not entirely sure what you are after in making money but you might consider google adsense you can register your website or blog with google via their adsense account its free to join up. google then posts adverts on your site and or blog whenever anyone clicks on an ad google will pay you a percentage of the ad revenue it collects the more traffic you can get to your site the higher the chances of getting more hits clicks and revenue
