Can you play Football Manager on this laptop????!!!!

Hi, I am thinking of buying this laptop for my partner for christmas. He would only really be using it to store photos, surf the web and play football manager on. It might sound like a silly question but can you put the CD Football Manager into this machine and play it? I think he has to have the CD inserted in the laptop to play the game.

Any help would be very much appreciated as I don't have much of an idea about laptops lol!!
