If it works on windows xp and/or vista it should work on windows 7
But you don't have to take my word for it you can go to a shop and ask for assistance and someone who works there should be able to help you
7 doesn't work well with the older stuff like this, though there is a patch from microsoft (kb976264) which helps with old games like this. it works for vista sp2 so there's a chance it may work for 7. compat mode is is only available on professional and ultimate but you can download virtual box for free to make a virtual machine (like a pc in a program window) to install an older windows if u have one which works better than compat mode
The only way I would have thought you could get this game to play on windows 7 would be the Compatibility mode.
I have found a link to this below which has instructions on how to do this
You could always try to run it in compatibility mode (either xp, 98 or 95). I've played games I uses to play on windows 95 on windows 7. It won't always work, but it's worth giving a try!
I f so it will work on windows seven as i ahve it myself and it plays fine with no jittering, crashes or bugs. Newer versions will also work fine and personally i have used games from 20 years ago on a windows 7 laptop with no issues so i am sure you will be fine.
