used it for 1-2 hours put it back in its box and put it in the shed, went to use year later, wouldnt start

has anyone got a cure for this ..... thank you

firstly id check the fuse in the plug to make sure that it hasn't blown. if that's ok try plugging it in to a different socket just incase its the socket that you are plugging in to .Also if you are using a RCD make sure that you reset it when you turn the socket on .
if you have checked all above then i can assume that its either a loose connection or one of the switches has broken .
