When I was a young child my parents would take me to Mallorca a lot. I loved every second of it, I would recommend Mallorca.

I wasn't in Calas but I have visited Alcudia and it was very family friendly, plenty of activities nearby for kids like the waterparks. The bars and restaurants are child friendly and the younger more rowdy crowd seem to go to other areas like Magaluf and Palma Nova so it does feel very safe there. Have a nice time wherever you choose :)

We went to calas de mallorca a couple of years ago. We went in April so it was quite quiet and there was no public transport running so it was difficult to get to Palma. There were a few things to do about - crazy golf, beaches etc but as you have children to keep amused I would recommend checking public transport or hiring a car if you do decide to go here. Its very beautiful here though and lots of restaurants and shops to visit :-)

I went to Alcudia around couple of months back-white sand beach (quite safe), lovely weather, horse riding, loads of hiking places, typical roman vilages, amazing night life, El Laberinto Maze amusement park (water monster chase, pirates games etc), Hidro park-has 6 pools, variety of slides, bungee jumping, golf cars and water motor boats. Morover, there is also racing karting. Overall its an amazing place whr you and your kids wil simply enjoy

we went to Calas de Mallorca a while ago. It's quieter, but they have everything in the resort. No need to go on trips anywhere etc and the beach was nice
