Can Germany win Euro 2012 considering the fact that there are strong oppositions by Italy, Spain, Portugal

If the German machine are regarded as the favorites to win the competition, then that is a beautiful prediction. But in the face of mounting opposition by Italy , France, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain, it may be some what difficult, unless Podolski, Bastian Schwinteinger and Lahm are at their best.

Now that the tournament has finished I can say quite categorically that the answer is no. They had great players going forward but were unable to handle Pirlo in the semi-final against Germany. It's a bit surreal answering a question now that the answer is known to everyone.

Not now! I have to say, I did expect them to make it to the final but Italy v Spain does sound like a very intriguing final!

You forgot England who have slipped in under the radar. I tipped Germany to win it from the start and I don't expect that to change. A semi final of Germany v England is on the cards though, providing both win their quarter final games and England will be looking for revenge for the World Cup 2010 defeat and the goal that was disallowed which was miles over the line.
