If you are a new user, you need to first write your own review. If your review gets an overall rating of "helpful" , then you wil be able to rate and comment on other reviews. Initially, you might get somewhat helpful but try and improve your reviews to get good ratings and be able to rate other reviews !

To be able to rate & comment on other members reviews, you'll need to write at least 1 review that other people who are already members rate as 'helpful' or above.

To get a 'helpful' or above rating on your reviews, it's best to write a clear well worded review on something that you own & have a strong opinion about, & post it on Ciao.

I believe the rules are that you have to write at least one review with an overall rating of at least helpful before you can start rating other people. Would suggest you try that first but watch out for things like writing 'i' instead of 'I' and punctuation such as 'can't' instead of 'cant' as poor grammar tends to lead to lower ratings.

Ciao does not let new members rate other reviews until they have posted a least one review themselves and that review has an overall "helpful" rating. As your first review has an overal "somewhat helpful" rating the system will not allow you to rate other reviews. Perhaps try again with a new review and try to make it more informative?
