Absolutely! This is a suction only floor head that does not have a spinning brush. Therefore, it is suitable for laminate and hard flooring - but, ALL cylinder/pull along/canister vacuums have suction only floor heads as standard. If you look at the link provided you will see a suction only channel and stiff strips for floors. Spinning brushes are called "pet hair brush," or "turbo brush."
