I first came across protons website when I was looking to buy my first brand new car. I took time to scan through the whole of most car websites and found this one to be one of the best. In the end I did not buy a Proton but found there website to be to a very high standard.

The first page you see I the ‘homepage’ where the new Proton Impian is advertised. There are numerous links to different areas of the site Inc a dealer locater and information on the all-favourite Proton Satria GTI. The layout of the homepage is very good and very eye catching as the page is in bright yellow. There are also links to view the Proton models and information on Protons guarantee.

Genral layout.

The genral layout of the site is very good. The site is very easy to naviagte through and is reasonbley quick. If you use yuor common sence you will be navigate through this as good as ciao!.

There are only 3 models to the Proton range available to the u.k. The models are photographed but only the top of the range models. On the models page you are asked to select 1 of 3 models first up the Satria. A small photo is in the bottom right of the screen showing you all angles of the car. Once clicked on Satria you can choose from the following links of info.

· Specification
· Colour chart
· Warranty
· Dealer network,
· Brochure request
· Finance

Brochure request

You can request a brochure online. Its quick and easy, to put in a request will only take a few minutes. You can select as many cars as you wish to receive info on. I have sent for 2 lots of information and both come within 3 working days. The colour brochures are very good and worth the few minutes. Brochures cost nothing and I %100 recommend them.

On the website you can see some of the comments newspapers and magazines have written. You can view 6 different comments from the following magazines/papers.

· Revs
· Auto express
· Daily telegraph
· The mail on Sunday

Information.

On the whole the information on the website is detailed and very informative. You can view the maximum speeds of vehicles and a full equipment list.

This a very helpful website with some good features. There is no way of imprvong this site except listing the used cars for sale on the site of one of there main dealers. My advice is to go and check it out.
