This is what I like to see, another fair trade company, with really great products.

People Tree specialise in organic cotton products (many 3rd World producers suffer illness and death as a result of the pesticides used for ordinary cotton). The advantage at the buyer end is that the cotton is super soft and great quality.

People Tree sell women's and men's fashions, children's and baby wear, funky jewellry (check out button bracelets and ring pull necklaces!) as well as gifty type items. The great thing about their clothes is that they are fashionable and stylish, so you don't have to be a martyr to the cause to wear them.

The website is really easy to navigate (www.ptree.co.uk). The display of products is good, and there are other sections including: special offers, news & events and an order form. You can also request a catalogue. Unfortunately, at the moment, you have to print off the order form and send it in the snail mail (well named in our part of the world!)

Postage and packing is £3.50, or free over £75. If you order over £50 worth they also send you a free gift. The online cataglogue includes a size chart and the hard copy has one as well as a ring size chart.

People tree are very good at responding to emails and their delivery is quick and the products are lovely. However, if you don't like them, they include a returns form.
