Advantages Good looking site, stock checker, comparison feature, easy and fast ordering and delivery; v. efficient
Disadvantages Could be a bit more competitive in price, not a name that rolls of the tongue. Medium range, not a first port of call for most

I'm surprised to see an overall average score here for qed-uk.com - time to add weight to the better end off the see-saw. Though their name hardly rolls of the tongue, qed-uk.com are worth a go - at least if you find them offering a tempting price on Kelkoo or any other price matching site. I initially placed an order with applianceplanet.co.uk for a moderately cheap big brand named fridge freezer (space constraints and all that) as they had the lowest price...But no goods in stock 'til Feb. It goes without saying that appliances like fridges, washing machines and cookers are fairly critical ... more

I’m a bit of a bargain hunter, I am. Short of actually stealing things, I’ll be damned if I’m going to pay any more than I need to for anything, particularly where electrical goods are concerned. If you need convincing as to how much the price of one object can vary from retailer to retailer, flip over to www.kelkoo.com and have a look at some of the comparisons. You’ll probably be astounded. By far the cheapest deals on offer are those to be found on the discount electrical web sites and whenever I’m browsing around, the absolute cheapest seems to be through Quality Electrical Direct or QED ... more

Introduction ************* I have heard and seen very split opinions on QED.uk.com but I decided to risk buying with them anyway and I must stress that this review is based on my opinion of the site and on the service I received while buying the "Humax PVR 8000t" from them. Prices & Money ***************** This has to be the best part of QED, the prices are really very cheap and good value for money, they state that they are up to 40% off street price, my box was only 30% but that is still a mega saving of £60. Advantages Good Range, Most of it Cheaper than Larger Hi-street stores. Good Delivery Times.
Disadvantages Stock Information Limited

It was about a year ago. I had had the Internet for about 2 months and I decided I needed some new speakers for my hi-fi (well the old ones had blown up so I was forced to buy new ones). I was looking around the larger manufactures websites (Comet, Dixons etc) to see what I could buy, but not having a credit car I knew I would have to go in store to purchase. Advantages Low Prices
Disadvantages Have to wait for delivery, but they get stuff to you fast

We bought a video camera from QE-Direct last months. We chose the model we wanted then used comparison sites (www.dealtime.co.uk and www.kelkoo.com) to find the lowest price. With various models we found that QE-Direct consistently was at the top of the list when it came to price. The camera we ended up buying, a samsung, was £234 compared with £269 in the shops. We ordered the item on early in the morning and it was with us the next day, and have been very happy with the product so far. Delivery is also free within the UK so there are no extra costs to pay.
