Disadvantages Cannot order fresh products - but that is really not their fault!
As a "shopping chanel" they are on 24 hours per day, although repeats are show from 02.00hrs to 08.00 hrs, I really like their to their beauty and fashion products, and have a lot of jewellery. Price wise I think they are very good value for money Being able to buy in bulk (they also have channels in Germany, US and Japan) means that they purchase direct from suppliers. Products are often offered upto a maximum of four payments (taken monthly with no interest) - all you need is a credit card. They also accept cheques.
I have been shopping with QVC.UK now for over 5 years. Living overseas, it is hard to get some tried and trusted products, household goods, clothes, shoes, gardening items, household linen - the list is endless! but, as long as it is not too heavy, or a fresh productor foodstuffs, you can get it at QVC.UK and they will send to Europe.
At midnight they introduce a "Today´s special value" which can be anything from a saucepan to a fur coat! at a special low price for 24 hours - or as long as the stock lasts ! and they do, some items have only lasted minutes i.e. jewellery items from Butler and Wilson. They have excellent presenters who explain and demonstrate all the products which come from all over the world and have to pass very vigorous Q.C. before getting to air. Their experts, such as Alison for Beauty, or Richard Jackson for Gardening really are experts and offer helpful advice.Best Shopping Channel I have come across, phone your order in, (freephone number) use your mobile or the red button on your Sky remote or through their website QVC.UK on your computer. If you wish to return any item you recieve a 30 day money back guarantee, which, over Christmas is extended just in case you buy a present which somebody does not like. Even if you have a problem after the thirty days, they are very helpful in trying to solve it - after all they stand for Quality, Value and Convenience - and I believe it is true.
The call centre staff are exceptional and if you experience a problem (and there is not that many) they are very helpful, and will do their utmost to assist there and then.Items arrive quickly, I recieve jewellery within a few days, and other products usually within 7-10 days. I cannot recommend this Company highly enough and would urge anyone to check out this channel and their website - they have a vast range of products and check out the Clearance and Last Clicks offers.
