On follow up to my recent problems with QXL, as posted on this site.
I have taken legal advice from a solicitor and they advise me that in cases where you have paid for goods and not received them, you are entitled to, by law:
A full refund (obviously!)
Interest on the money paid (current rate would be 7%pa).
Damages for your time spent on resolving the matter.
Damages for the difference in costs of sourcing an alternative product from and alternative source.
I have put this to them in realtion to my case and am waiting for a response, otherwise will be instructing solicitors to take the matter further.

Nice to see someone back up my opinion that i posted. You might want to get in touch with someone else who is having the same problem (see my post for what i'm on about). A join action might be more effective. Drag yourself over to www.dvdtimes.co.uk (an excellent site) and go to the forums, go to general or bargains (can't remember which) and look for the subject heading "DVD day at QXL". You can get in contact with others there.
