QXL online auctions are improving daily. There is also what they call live auctions where everybody bids in real time. They have also been involved directly with Microsoft and are using some of the latest software tech in their web site.
Also the new windows XP includes a link to this site.
You can buy and sell on the site. I have only bought. I not sure of the cost to sell but you first 3 sales are free.
They have also created a new feature that allows you to buy some things at a set price before the end of the auction. This is good for those items you have always waited, or just cant wait to buy.
I have brought lots a things from this web site, computer games watches cloths. You can now even bid on brand new cars. I have manly bought from companies, only once from an individual. I have not had any problems with receiving the goods. I prefer company’s that I can pay by the credit card that I have registered with QXL and this saves me having to send my money via cheque in the post to the person I am buying from.
QXL also have insurance to buyer that helps to ensure that you are going to received the goods you have paid for.
What I also like that is normal a good selection of auctions from £1 to bid on, and e-mail are sent to you to keep you up to date on you bids.
There is lots of stuff and very good prices, although you should be careful not to get to carry away with bidding and end up paying more than you would from the shops.
I think this web site is for everybody and it can be fun to use get that winning bid.
I have had good service and I believe in the company. I will also point out that I own shares in the company.
