RACE FOR LIFE? WHAT IS IT? Race for life is a 'women only' fundraising 5k race (that's about 3 miles in old money!) It started in 1994 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Would you like to save somone's life?? I think we would all answer yes to that. Here is one way all you ladies out there can help to get themselves into shape and save someone's life. Every year since 1994 the Imperial Cancer Research Fund has held an event for ladies only. This event is called Raceforlife and is a 5km course that you can either walk or run. Each entrant pays a £7.50 entry fee that goes directly to research into womens' cancers. ...
