The only software required to listen to their radio station are either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. These are then used to play the music, once it has been temporarily downloaded (this is a streaming download).
They are also developing a surf bar which will be used to play music and display banner ads, but currently isn't available. You should be able to listen to the music on any system that supports either RealPlayer or Windows Media Player.
One of the best things about this site is that you can earn money while you are doing anything on your computer, you just need to be connected to the internet (d'oh!).
After logging into your Radiofreecash account you will be able to check how long you have been listening, how many referrals you have & how much your account balance has (hopefully) grown to.
They have a good website design along which is relatively easy to use and to understand. They have many radio stations, each playing a variety of music, but I found that because I have a relatively slow internet connection, at times, the reception was slightly dodgy.
In my opinion this is worth a try. The music on the site is pretty poor, but if your on the internet a lot then it's worth doing, as long as you are able to turn the speakers down. It's also worth doing if you have free internet (i.e. free phone calls). After builing a few referals, I obtained a healthy account balance, whether they pay be or not is another question!
Advantages: Free Music. Easy to earn first $15 Disadvantages: Music is low quality. Lots of drop outs on 56K connection.
...doing a better job!
Overall, for July - get you $15. For the future, if there's music you like, try it, if it doesn't work out you've lost nothing.

Advantages: choise of station Disadvantages: poor sound quality
I have been a member of this now for about three months. I find the sound quality lets it down a bit. I use real player with my browser and if I were to listen to a radio station directly, that is not via Radiofreecash, I find the quality better. Having said that I have not had any problems except some limitations on which sites I can visit with the radio bar open. If you point your browser to Yahoo for example, the radio bar will automatically be ...
Advantages: get paid to listen. Disadvantages: slow down your internet connection

Advantages: Free, decent choice of music, no annoying talkovers all the time like local radio Disadvantages: cuts out sometimes, seems to have problems if youre downloading pages with javascript on
I'm listening to it as I write this - it's fairly good quality, plenty of different syles of music to suit all tastes, and SURPRISINGLY there isn't as much verbal advertising as you'd expect. There is a little "sponsored by " ad on the radio bar and maybe less than a minute of verbal ads every 15 mins. The music itself is remamrkably up to date! I've had a few minor problems, during this - their changeover period - but they do tell you to expect ... ...goes silent. Also, I've noticed it messes up sometimes if you're downloading something that contains javascript, but hey, this is for free and they're paying you! What's to complain about?
I like the idea of the 20c an hour for listening, up to a max of 100 hours per month, plus they pay to 4 levels for your referrals, so the possibility is there of getting a nice little bonus cheque on a regular basis. Since working on the computer is a somewhat ...

Advantages: Free music Free money (maybe) Free CD's (maybe) Disadvantages: lack of communication and updates on the web site
The comments i have read in here on this are very forward thinking. They should pay you 1 cd for each ten hours or more per month that you listen (if you can call it that sometimes the servers get well overloaded) to the radiobar. I have been a member since April and qualified for 1 each month but none have come through (ok they are sending them but these things cost money and they will not be releasing any vouchers until they get money in). As for ... ...month (as i have been advertising on my pts website http://harpers.freeservers.com) but there has been no rolling out of the paybar in any shape or form and no excuses given on the website. They have to their credit extended the free cd offer into July (have asked them about august and will post the result when they tell me). All in all its a good service just lacking a certain level of achievment or lack of communication to the membership. The tracking ...
