The retailer sent me the wrong item, then demanded that I pay the full cost of returning the wrong item to them. They failed to honour the order at all. So Redstore.com have now cost me £3.65 to not meet the order. I told them a good retailer would offer to pay for the postage given it was their mistake, they told me that this was not their policy. So there you have it, by their own policy, they are not a good company. I have actually joind ciao just to review this company. Thats how much I am disappointed by their customer service. I ordered an item that showed as in stock. Then got an email to say 2-3 days. Then got a phone call to demand a copy of my credit card statement for "security". Dubious... but sent it to them anyway. Then got a very angry call from "the manager" to say that this was not enough information and he required more! My first purchase with redstore.com has gone very smoothly. The price was very reasonable, as were the shipping costs. Next day delivery arrived next day, and there have been no problems. My only gripe was that although I received an Order Confirmation, I never received an Order Acceptance, nor a despatch notifcation, which had me worried until I actually received the item. However my worries were unfounded and I got my order delivered as expected and on time. What happened to this Red Store. Do not use them. I had used this Redstore for years and was a happy customer I got all my clients using Redstore, I should have been on commission. They quite often didn't deliver on time, usually because the was some minor hold on the order and rather than contacting the customer they wait until I phone up and complain to Redstore However I will never ever use this Redstore again and I urge other not too, it's a shame.
