Advantages: NOT ANYMORE Disadvantages: VERY POOR SOLUTIONS. ENABLE TO GET BETTER DEAL NOW IN STORES. NEVER CALL YOU BACK.
3 phone calls. 3 times : yes we will call you back. First call was sat about a 46" Sharp 1080p Screen ( you get the idea of the cost of such item) + 2 calls about a faulty cheaper item that needs to be replaced. LIES - LIES - LIES!!!! ...sure we'll call you back. LIES- LIES- LIES ! ! ! As a part-time installer, I will go shop elsewhere, and certainly ADVISE ALL MY CUSTOMERS NOT TO SHOP at your stores. Extremely disappointed, I wish to make a formal ... ...the shop or at the customer-service center ( for the last call ) The ONLY HELPFUL PERSON WAS CALLED HENRY at Swiss Cottage. NOW, what are you gonna do about it? THEIR REPLY: Dear Sir, Thanks for contacting Richer Sounds. I was sorry to hear that you have not yet received a callback from our store; can you urgently send me your contact number in order for me to resolve this for you? ...tv and the prices at richersounds.co.uk drew me to their website. Its very easy to use and gives good technical specification details for each product BUT.... look closely... every single TV I looked at was listed as "no longer available online- only in store". So, I popped round to my local Richer Sounds branch. "No we don't have that TV... or that one... or that one... or that one". "Do you in fact have ANY televisions at all?" I ask... "yes we ... ...TV almost twice the price of the one I wanted). So I left and bought the TV for the same price from Argos.
This week, I am now looking for a TV stand and a DVD recorder. Again, everything I was interested in was listed as "no longer available online- only in store". This time I rang my local Richer Sounds... surprise surprise they don't have any of the 4 items I am interested in. "Well we are only a small store" says the polite assistant on the ...

I just felt I had to write to express my pleasant surprise at the excellent customer service from Richersounds. I have nothing but praise for the "young" assistant who helped me at the Guildford branch. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing like the sulky arrogant or totally indifferent ones you get at Dixon's (so there!!!). It is nice see that good service hasn't died completely in our shops/retailers.

The web site is not the most intuitive to navigate, but once you find your way around you will find an amazing array of bargain hi-fi from the big names.
... ...one or two “Christmas” offers – which shows that they are not exactly on the ball when it comes to updating. Neither are they on the ball when it comes to e-commerce. My order was placed and an auto-responder confirmed the order immediately.
The site warns you to be prepared to wait seven working days for delivery and claims that they will contact you by email or telephone if there is going to be any delay.

I recently came across Richer Sounds when looking to buy a minidisc recording deck. I took a look at their website and saw a unit i liked the look of. It was a Technics Deck. They were selling it for £99.95. They stated the this was a saving of £150. I didn't believe that, so took a look around on the internet and in 'convential' shops. I discovered that Dixons and Tempo were both selling the exact same unit for £250!!! On their website, Richer Sounds ... ...have a picture. I phoned them up, using a number on their website, and asked for more information about the unit, such as what inputs and outputs it has. The man I spoke to told me everything I needed to know about the unit. I decided to buy, and placed the order on their website. A three year warranty only cost me £14.95. They do however charge £8 for delivery, and I recieved the unit after 6 days. I was very impressed with the service I recieved. ...
