Rovers may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I believe they have come along way in the past 15 years. Today’s Rovers have comfortable solid driving manners, which is essential for all day to day motoring. I have owned many Rovers in previous years and have never been disappointed with any of them. OKAY… That’s enough time filling for this opinion lets get onto the website.
The first thing that hits me when first logging on to the Rover website (www.rover.co.uk) id rovers large advertisement for the 75 “One of life’s little luxuries. The opening page is nice and simple being well laid out and easy to read. The colours used are nice and plain yet modern if a little bland. As this page has a small picture of each cars in the Rover range so there’s bound to be one that’s caught your eye. You’re definitely going to follow through to the next page. The Home page has all links clearly shown to features like:
ModelsThe opening page to the models has all the cars shown in a rather showroom style way and you are asked to choose the model of your choice whether it be the 25,45,75or the 75 Tourer When selecting your model e.g. 25 you are confronted with a small paragraph which is trying to sell you the car
There is a small menu at the top of the page, which has a paragraph or two about power, security, handling etc. These pages do not contain facts again its there opinion about the car and obviously a good one.Another small menu on the page contains the dimension stats, price lists and various programmes in which you can build your 25. This is where you can choose the body style, transmission and engine that you want in your Rover. You can pick and choose all the details such as colours and specification options. You can see what each colour looks like on the car my favourite colour is between Anthracite Metallic or British racing green Pearle scent either colour looks stunning even on the basic model
On the Rover site you can also send of for a full colour brochure or even organise a free test drive on the model of your choice with your local Rover Mg dealerRover.co.uk has a useful feature in which you can find a second hand approved Rover. This feature is useful but UN reliable as it is very often out of order. When working you simply type in your postcode, it will then search for your local dealer Click the dealership photo and you will have a full Rover stock list right before your eyes!
The website contains a small piece of information on finance but its suggested you go to your local dealership for detailed information and terms and conditions.Overall the Rover website is very helpful when deciding to buy a new or used car or whether your just there out of interest. The site contains some useful features which all operate in reasonable speed. The site itself is quite quick and generally easy to use with no Confusing links or Frequent pop ups!
I do recommend the website fully to anyone looking for useful information on the Rover range! Many thanks for reading my opinion and please don’t hesitate to leave a message with any concerns about my opinion
