Advantages Great subject base at GCSE and A-level standard, integrated forums divided into subject areas.
Disadvantages Lack of some sides to subjects. For example the lack of Mechanics in the maths sections. Sometimes overly brief explanations of theories.
Lets face it, revision is quite frankly dull. You often sit down stare at notes (often containing more old messages to the person next to you, than lesson notes), then you get into a state about the exams. What are you going to do?
There are many different web-sites out there billing themselves as the best. Many of them are alot more highly advertised, but this doesn't make them the best. S-cool not only has the essential notes on most GCSE courses, but I myself found the A-level notes very useful. I also found it useful as a reference guide through my course.
The best feature I find though is that there are message forums integrated into the site. The forums are divided into subject areas, with a general forum for, well, anything non-school. The forums are not only a great way to get help in your subject, but also a great way to chat to people in similar situations as yourself.
