I received one of their catalogues a few years back and was impressed by the wide range of goods available. I had no problems placing an order over the phone and my goods were delivered within three days. I live in Northern Ireland so delivery times are different for us in comparison with the rest of the UK. ...was plumbed into the same pipe so when I came home from work I quickly put a load of washing in before managing the kitchen sink. Then I was distracted by the thought of food, made myself dinner and sat down to watch eastenders. Luckily, my living room is in my kitchen, as out of the corner of my eye I spotted that the kitchen sink was filling with water. Actually, I think I screamed because the sink was filled to within 1/2cm of overflowing! I should have realised that this would happen! I turned off my washing machine and the water drained from the sink back into the washing machine - taking along the sink and plughole unblocker juice! I had to leave it like that overnight through fear of it all pouring out into the flat! ...This is a review based on my recent experience with Screwfix.com I have been looking for a cheap bathroom suite for a while now. I trawled all the usual sites, searched all the search engines, visited the usual stores such as B&Q, Homebase, etc. Then a friend suggested I had a look at Screwfix.com. They sell all manner of hardware, tools, fixings, and general "DIY" equipment to the trade and the public. I wont list their entire range as it has already been done in another (very good) review. I found a complete bathroom suite for £180 and this included VAT AND delivery ! The delivery time was quoted as 2 weeks. 10 Days later I recieved a phone call asking if it was ok to deliver my suite the following Wednesday.
