...I skied here for a couple of days a few years ago, and then went back for a holiday in 2003. The Gastein valley runs north south between Salzburg and Villach, as does the trainline which uses the valley (before disappearing into the tunnel, to reappear some 20 minutes later in Carinthia). Bad Gastein is the biggest of the resorts here, but there is also Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein. The valley is about an hour and a half fro Salzburg airport, but equally close to the cheaper and smaller Klagenfurt airport, although this route involves putting your car on the train through the tunnel. We still prefer this way though. Bad Gastein is a spa town (hence the 'Bad'), which is generally visited by German and Austrian (fairly well-heeled) tourists in the summer seeking the local 'cure' from the baths, along with walkers, and a mixture...

Bad Lashes?

Advantages: Really black colour, gives good thickening effect in one coat, easy to apply
Disadvantages: Quite pricey

...I'm not a big mascara fan - my sister spends an absolute fortune on the Lancome Hypnose, but having been lucky enough to inherit my Dad's dark, thick lashes, I don't see it as such a necessity so am pretty difficult to impress in the mascara stakes. I bought this in a set which contained Benefit's Dandelion, Benetint and this Bad Lashes Mascara - all for the bargain price of £43 - at £20 each for the Dandelion and the Benetint this was a bargain in itself and the mascara for me was an added bonus. This mascara promises "the biggest, baddest lashes" and that wearing this will be "like wearing false eyelashes without the glue". Quite a bold claim! The mascara follows on the same theme as their Bad Gal eyeliner with a really chunky black tube with silver tipped wand. The black, silver and pink colour scheme is really fun...

Bad gal lashes!

Advantages: Great volumising effect
Disadvantages: Not waterproof

...The Benefit brand originated in San Francisco and follows the ethos of vintage glam, it reminds me of the 1940's era. The official website for the brand (www.benefitcosmetics.com) states that the aim was to create stores with a candy store like atmosphere. I bought thieir mascara for the first time when I moved away to university. Before that I hadn't had access to the brand Benefit and it's counters. The mascara comes in a chunky tube, with white lettering on it for the brand name and words BAD gal, the word lash is written in pink. The wand is possibly one of the biggest ones I have ever seen in a mascara, which is perhaps why it is so successful in creating really big and volumised lashes when I use it. It's not bad, gals!

Advantages: glossy, long lashes
Disadvantages: too expensive, not enough volume

...given the name 'Bad Gal Lash', that I would get very thick dark, perhaps even smudgy looking, rock-chick lashes. I was surprised that in fact the opposite seems to be true. My lashes definitely have added length, but there is very little added volume. This gives a quite subtle look, which is very demure and girly. It's a nice look, just not what I was expecting. The mascara is long lasting and I haven't experienced it flaking out at all, which has happened with other brands. I do wear contact lenses and have not found this mascara irritates my eyes in any way. As it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging that this is waterproof, I can only assume it isn't. Santa behaving badly - It can't be!

Advantages: The boy character, the concept is a novelty and its pretty amusing

Be a Bad Gal!!

...I got this almost a year ago in my birthday bag of goodies that my sister is so good at getting for me. Knowing that I often scrounge hers and don't really indulge in the more expensive beauty products she always gets some great little luxuries for me! ~ Packaging ~ Just as the photo shows, this mascara comes in a very striking black and bright pink box and instantly looks expensive! The mascara has a silver screw top lip and the base of it is black with large pink and white writing on it. ~ Price ~ Boots are currently selling this for £14.50 as are a few department stores like Fenwicks and Debenhams. Bad Santa (2003)

Advantages: Plot, cast performance, soundtrack, cinematography

...music and It really befit with this movie. CONCLUSION: In conclusion this movie is really funny and interesting, I don't say It's some masterpiece, but It's really funny movie, and It should like to everyone. Characters were awesome, they had really good performance, except some characters who were real amateurs. Soundtrack was great and befit with this movie. Everything is really ok, and in my thought there weren't any bad sides, except that, Santa has really dirty mouth and there were a lot of dirty words. Bad or downright evil?

Advantages: Deeply disturbing, convincing acting
Disadvantages: Rape scenes, chilling

...nothing of demeaning women, and even his closest friends, who frequently receive a beating from him. He doesn't have many lines to begin with; everything that he experiences is shown in his face with amazing clarity, and it is for this reason that I think this is an almost flawless performance. Won Seo is also amazing as Sun-hwa, who is a cossetted college student. When she is forced into prostitution, she is still a virgin, obviously very innocent, so what she has to do is incredibly distasteful to her. And not only is she raped, she is badly beaten too. All this requires a powerful performance to pull it off, but Won Seo manages incredibly well. Again, she doesn't have all that many lines - her face tells the story. This is not an easy thing to watch - there were times when I couldn't even look at her face because it was so convincing...
