I while ago, a few emails were coming into my in-box from "shagmail", and I thought, huh?, but ignored them and just deleted. Although then, more and more started to arrive, until there were about 40 different e-mails coming per day.

I realised that someone had signed me up to email newsletters. OK, well you would have thought that you could just op-out of them or they should at least have to be confirmed by you, before they ...
...un-subscribe, but this was not the end. You need to unsubscribe yo each type of newsletter individually, which would take hours. So this has forced me to change my email address.

I went to their site, and you see how very easy it is for someone to start to spam you, because you just check boxes for what type of mails you want, all a spammer needs to do is check all the boxes, and fill in your email address, all of these emails need ... more

So I followed the link to un-subscribe, but this was not the end. You need to unsubscribe yo each type of newsletter individually, which would take hours. So this has forced me to change my email address.

Although if you were signing up to this wittingly, only getting one or two daily emails, then I daresay that this is a good service to use, but I just know so many people that have been spammed by this company very badly.

I did read some of them, and they were alright, with some good content, but they had so many ads in them, that it was difficcult to find what you were trying to read. To be honest, you may as well go to a site each day, and find what you want, rather than having their content pushed at you.

So this is a warning to people, that if you see any emails from shagmail, than delete, and op-out of each one as soon as it comes, becasue it will quickly become out of hand.

*update* - Now shagmail requires you to first confirm that you want it by replying to the email, which is about time too. This doesn't nessesarily mean you will not get spammed by them though, because there are some companies who use the "reply to unsubscribe" trick just to confirm that this is an active e-mail account. Hopefuly though, this system will work better.
