You know the players, EB, Gameplay and despite my experiences even Softwarefirst have to feature in there somewhere. There is one more to add though and that is Simplygames. Advantages: cheap!, free delivery, free P&P Disadvantages: Will you get what you order?
Simplygames.com has to be the best site I have ever been to in regards to selling cheap games for all formats. Recently I have bought numerous amounts of playstation games for £4.99 which included P&P. I also bought Time Crisis and the G-Con Light gun to go with it for £30 and they arrived the next day. One advantage they hold over other sites is that they offer free delivery and are always doing promotions on games, so that you can get discounted ... ...the site is quite straight forward and they have an excellent search facility to narrow down results to find what your looking for.
As an example, you can search for all games under £20 for the PC, or even all 'shoot-em-up' games under £20 for the PC, to make it that little more effective.
You can even pre-order items that are not in stock, which can be delivered to you when they are received.
I did find however that the site had gone through ...

This is a great online store for all your gaming needs! This shop includes gameboy, playstation 1 and 2, Nintendo sixty-four, dreamcast and pc, games as well as accessories. The site is easy to navigate, with attractive settings, and an easy to use search facility. Almost all the games you can think of are there, at very low competitive prices. It has a great pre and after - sales customer service system, and is very helpful. When you have placed ... ...Their pre-order system is very good, and aim to have it to you within two days of release. They also have extra things on the site, such as previews, reviews and top ten listings. It has full descriptons of each game and a full colour picture. It even has full instructions for the first time buyer! The site is good looking and colourful, with a wide range of cheap products, so it is rated as one of my favourite game sites. I have used this site many ...

Advantages: Good Prices, Online Ordering Disadvantages: Customer service required all too often.
I found this crowd in a search engine back before Christmas 1999. I was looking for a DreamCast for Xmas and they had a very good price. There were, however, problems from day one. My DC didn't arrive until Xmas eve. Even then it was late afternoon.
We were supposed to get 10 £5 vouchers for DC games and accessories - these finally arrived on 28th February.
I bought Resident Evil Code: Veronica from them in June and when it arrived, Disk 1 didn't ... ...2 then swapped). I didn't say because I couldn't be bothered waiting another week or more to get an exchange - I had to wait long enough in the first place because they took the wrong issue number for my Solo card and I had to go through a lot of hassle to get the order redispatched.
On the other hand it resulted in me getting DC games for £25 brand new, and I was recently considering getting Soul Calibur at £20 or Resident Evil 2 for £15.
They ...

Quick review of simplygames.com Review ofsimplygames.comby

A Superb experience overall! Competitive pricing, a decent range of products and very quick delivery. I initially used this company to purchase a Wii Console back in March, when no other company had them in stock. Sinc then I've pre-ordered two Wii Games and got them on time. I ordered a Nunchuk on Friday and that came through on Saturday. I will use them in the future. EXCELLENT

Advantages: None Disadvantages: You'll wait weeks for your games
...The service from this retailer is completely unacceptable. In my experience, you're lucky to get an order fulfilled by these guys within three weeks. They also have some really strange rules regarding missing orders. From their web-site:
PLEASE NOTE: MISSING OR DELAYED ORDERS – WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 10 WORKING DAYS HAVE PASSED (FROM DESPATCH OF GOODS) BEFORE BEING ABLE TO TRACE, CHASE OR REPLACE ORDERS. THANKS
Given that most orders from these clowns seem to be delayed, my guess is that they lie about the shipped date, which gives them two full weeks (at least) before the angry customer catches up with them. Their customer services only have this to say:
"As you may be aware we are unfortunately unable to take any action until 10
working days have passed, this is stated in our terms and conditions,

Advantages: Some good prices Disadvantages: Generally better prices elsewhere online
...occasions you could actually get them at the same price or less from MVC and that's on the high street! www.play247.com certainly beat them on price here anyway.
Books are not really my thing but their prices seem reasonable enough.
Games, now this is my thing!
I have never bought a game from them although recently they had Crazy Taxi on the PS2 for £31.99 which was the best price I had seen anywhere. Generally the games prices are good but always check out www.simplygames.com first, they're usually the cheapest.
Customer service is on the ball from my experience. You get confirmation e-mails for orders and you can check the progress of your order(s) via your account options.
On the whole Streets online are good value and good service but they are by no means the cheapest.

On top of this search facilty, you have an aditional option listed towards the bottom left of your current page which can help you pin-point the items you are looking for. If you were looking at CDs for example, you will see that there are several links that can take you to all the 'Dance', 'R&B', 'Soundtrack' and 'Hip-Hop' sections of this product. Games on the other hand, will display the genre of the games you may be looking for, like 'Role-Playing' or 'Shoot-em-up'.
The design of the site in my view is quite appealing. They don't use excessive colours (just look at Argos.com or simplygames.com to see what I mean) and everything is clear and concise. White and orange in this case seem to go well with each other.
Each section of the site, whether it be DVDs, games, CDs or whatever, have their own 'Top Sellers', 'Coming Soon', 'Top 100...
