I moved from the states over 2 years ago. I used SMS.ac (www.sms.ac) a few times there, but it did not seem to have much traction.

However, I am really enjoying this site in London. I have met quite a few "interesting people" and continue to do so. You have to be careful to sign up for too much stuff, as it can get quite spendy. If you use it to meet people, I would highly recommend SMS.ac. Their Flirt product (believe it's called SMS.acFlirt or smsFlirt) is much better over here than in the states. It actually works as a good mobile dating tool, to my surprise.

They also have a great selection of mobile content - ringtones, java games, wallpapers, etc. They have promo's for free ringtones sometimes.
