While working abroad I thought I would save some money by sending sms messages from this site rather than using my mobile. It never worked and was a complete waste of time. Aparently you can only send to mobiles which are also registered so it was useless for me. What I didn't realise was by signing up for this free service I was also agreeing for details of other members to be sent to my phone at a cost. YOU ARE NOT ASKED IF YOU WANT THIS ADDITIONAL SERVICE - YOU ARE EFFECTIVELY AGREEING TO PAY 50p FOR EVERY TEXT MESSAGE THEY CHOOSE TO SEND YOU.
This was all months ago so I'd forgot all about it until last week, then I started getting text messages - about 3 a day reading "Maria / Debbie/ Pauline wants to be your friend - SMS.ac". My girlfriend was thrilled. I checked with t-mobile this morning and I'm being charged 50p for each one! Cheeky little s**tbags.

Welcome to Ciao! You haven't written anything about the site itself ~ a review has to include both good and bad points, if you can't say anything good about it then you should have your review moved to the Buyer Beware section because this does not help people to make up thier own minds. annie

Advantages: Get free texts for a month Disadvantages: Always sending you texts on your phone which cost you..when you cancel your account the texts dont stop
