For the Christmas just gone, I decided that I would finally put my huge collection of photos stored on my computer and soaking up the free space on my laptop, I would finally get some of my photos printed. The reason for this was both practical and personal. Firstly, I wanted a kind of hard copy for many of my photos so that if my laptop were to fail I wouldn't simply lose all of those memories, and secondly I needed to get a Christmas present for my boyfriend and in my attempt to finally out-do him in gifts, I found snapfish.co.uk. I say 'found', by which I actually mean I asked a friend of mine who also was ordering printed photos at the same time and had used the website before. She gave it an excellent review, assuring me the photos would arrive on time and be of excellent quality. So obviously trusting in her, I gave it a try and boy was I glad that I did!
I was ruthless and went through well over 600 photos whittling it down to around 60 or so to be printed. I chose somewhat detailed or difficult photos, such as ones with lots of movement or people in them, which I thought might effect the quality of the prints. As well as this, I had the option to choose a special option that apparently improved the quality of prints and another option to pick a larger size so that my images wouldn't become distorted. Now, being the cheapskate that I am, I declined both options and was incredibly surprised to find my photos of an excellent quality with no distortion or faults.
The price was astounding. Having ordered 60 or so prints I was worried I'd gone a bit too over the top and that I'd pay the price (pun intended) for having done so. When I came to the checkout I was again surprised, as my total came to under £5. In addition, my friend had recommended me to the website and so I was given a reduction in price. I combined this with a welcoming reduction that again lowered the price (however, I did this by ordering in two lots, as I'm not sure whether its allowed that you use two offers at one time).
Because of my delight at having used snapfish.co.uk I signed up to receive deals and emails by the company to my email address, and I'd say weekly or at bi-weekly I am met with an abundance of deals, especially around holidays like Christmas, New Years and Valentines Day. This makes it much more attractive to frequently use snapfish, not that its overtly expensive, but every little helps.

Its possible to not only have your photos printed alone, but you can also have already made photoalbums, personalised mugs and collages made and shipped to you.
