Ciao: First of all, thanks for your collaboration. In our first question, we would like to know if you are a fan of the monarchy and what you personally think about the princes, William and Harry.
Amy69: Many people fall head-over-heels for the princes, but for me they just don't cut it. I don't think that it is right for them to have inherited their riches; wealth should be earned. I'm not massive on monarchy; a lot of money is wasted on simple things like jewels and ceremonies, which we 'normal' people can do without.
Ciao: In Afghanistan, Harry was first stationed in Gasmsir, just 500 meters away from the position of the Taliban. Before him, his uncle Andrew also served in the British army and flew a helicopter in 1982 during the Falkands War. What do you think about the sortie of members of the royal family in these dangerous missions including the fact that they are risking their lives in service of the kingdom?
Amy69: I think that it is a fantastic thing for them to do. It shows that they truly care for their Country, and are not just powering it for the fame and wealth. Of course, I do not wish any of them to be injured or worse, though I'm sure if it did happen, it would be greatly publicised compared to the many other tragedies that happen out there which do not make the public eye!
Ciao: The United Kingdom has with 53 billions(2005/06) the highest European investment in the armament industry and is engaged in the “war against terror” side by side with the USA. What is your personal opinion on this and would you advice a friend or family member to go to dangerous countries such as Iraq or Afghanistan?
Amy69: I think that we jump to quickly to violent wars, and I feel that so much money and investment is not required. If we were to come across as less of a 'fighting country', there is that chance people may not cause terror. I would not advice a friend or family member to go to a dangerous country, especially with the war at a peak, as I would constantly fear for their lives. Besides, I do not agree on any level that fighting and violence solves anything.
Ciao: Back to Prince Harry: he supposedly flirted with a pilot named Michelle Tompkins via radio. Would you consider this as a light frolic between two young people or is this attitude not appropriate to a member of the royal family from your point of view?
Amy69: The Royal Family, although looked up at greatly, are still people like you and I, and Prince Harry should be entitled to an ordinary lifestyle if he so wishes. There is nothing wrong with a little flirting between the Prince and the pilot. It should been seen as healthy.
Ciao: Our last question is about the throne-succession. If it was up you, who would you pick, Harry or William? Please explain your answer.
Amy69: That's a tough one. Both boys would likely make a good heir. I think, in all honesty, I would have to go with Prince Harry. I feel that he does feel passionately about our country, but at the same time I think the power of ruling would not go to his head so easily, and would keep some normality in his life. However, both boys would do a grand job!
