End of Summer Bonus: Keeping it hot through September!

The summer is coming to an end but not at Ciao! We are extending your summer with an attractive “End of summer Bonus”.  Starting on the 1st of September until the 30th of September, we will double every remuneration for positive ratings to reviews with at least one £ symbol.
As a matter of fact, we will also double the special bonus for writing the first review of a product.

Music, 40 years after Woodstock

To finance a recording studio, 4 young music producers decided in August 1969 to organize a festival for peace in the world. 60 000 people maximum were expected. The result: more than 1 million people hit the road to Bethel (US State New York). 500 000 of them could pretend at the end to have attended the biggest rock music event of the 20 century.

Woodstock was celebrating its 40 anniversary in August and therefore, we decided to make music to our subject of the month.

How much music do you find on Ciao?

Devotees of Beethoven or Schubert just need to visit our section for classic. From the modernity on, music changed a lot. The several music styles nowadays show that tones, sound and voice can be mixed in endless ways. From the sixties on, Rock music gave birth to several styles like Pop, Rock, Country or Hip Hop. And the ones who still want to know which music was played in the time before, during and after Woodstock besides rock music, just need to have a look in the section for Oldies. You won't miss the great variety of soundtracks on our website and if it’s about dancing, we recommend you the Electronic, Disco & Dance, House or Techno sections.

Woodstock goes also in the history as the prime father of summer festivals and concerts. You will find helpful reviews about similar events in ciao café, in the section concert, festivals and gigs.

There won’t be a second Woodstock. But for sure music events and festivals which will also mark the spirit of our time.

Answer& Questions –freshly updated!

Dear Ciao Community,

You can now find the new Function “Answers & Questions” on our website.
This new function requires your knowledge! Each Ciao user has the possibility to publish a question to a listed product and every other user can answer this question.  As far as you are logged in, you will find the link to publish the question under the name of the product. For example: MSI WIND U100.

According to this new function, you will also find two new tabs in your member profile: a list of all asked questions and another with published answers.  As soon as the questioner chooses one answer as the best one, the question is closed and will disappear from the page.  Every user also has the possibility to rate each answer to the question. For each one of these new functions (asking a question/answering/rating) you also get community points.  You can see these in your profile, under statistics.

There will be soon a special overview page about this new function on Ciao to help you with any issues, questions, or problems you might have.
