Oh well, as I thought, it is now a month later and still no cheque, so I am now wholeheartedly NOT recommending "Spedia.net", they are nothing but a con, they DO NOT payout, as you can see in my original update, I had requested my cheque FIVE MONTHS ago and have not received it.
Oh well, having requested my cheque, for just over $50 at the beginning of May, you may wish to know, I have yet to receive it!
I have sent them an email, but alls I get back, is a auto-mated email, stating what the problems may be, so in other words, I have not been sent an exact email, telling me where the hell my cheque is. I will give them till the end of the month, and then if not received, I will change this pretty positive opinion, into a VERY NEGATIVE one.
This is an updated version of my opinion on “Spedia.net”, I have left my original opinion at the bottom of the page, and so you can see the improvements, if any.
Spedia.net, was actually one of the first paid to surf programs, I signed up for and they are still going, they pay you for using their pay bar, playing games and receiving emails,
etc.
What is Spedia about?
Well, as I have already told you, Spedia pay you for four different things, although getting to earn with these four things is not easy one bit, I have been a member for nearly a year now, and currently have around $50 in my account, here is a quick guide to the four ways of earning.
Spedia’s Pay Bar: This is the best and most reliable way to earn cash off Spedia, although this can be very irritating, the problem with this Pay Bar is, you have to be constantly surfing to get paid, the bar has a little light on it, Green means you are earning and Red or Orange means you’re not. To keep the Spedia bar green you have to be changing the pages you are looking at, very quickly, as once the page has been loaded for a minute or so, the light will go Orange, another thing I have noticed about this Pay Bar is, after you have earned 15 credits (15 minutes), you will not earn nothing else, unless you click on one of the adverts on the Pay Bar and then again, after every further 10 credits earned. Spedia currently pay around 30 cents an hour, although this may well rise again, when the market picks back up.
The main problem I find with Spedia is, you don’t seem to get credited with half the points you should be getting, what I mean by this is, a couple of times, I have surfed for about 60 minutes, only to be credited with about 20 minutes worth of credit.
Spedia’s Paid to play games: Yes, you can actually get paid for playing games like Solitaire, Pac-man, etc, well actually, you USED to get paid, as recently, they don’t seem to give you any credits for playing these games, which is a pity, as this was a great fun way of earning in the past. The games were pretty simple and can still be played, you never know, you might be lucky and get credited for playing.
Spedia’s Paid to sign-up: This is quite a popular thing with these programs nowadays, although I think Spedia was the first to use them, all’s it includes is, you sign-up for various programs like Flipside, Email Programs, etc, and you are credited with the said amount of points.
Spedia’s Paid for Emails: Yes, you get paid for receiving Emails off Speedia, the trouble is here is, you hardly ever receive any, I think I have received about 5 or 6 since I joined up. They also claim to send your mobile phone Emails, I am still waiting for the first of these.
Oh well, there are the various ways of earning with Spedia, and as you can see, they have a pretty lot of earning opportunities, and they also have a very good down-line structure (this means the referrals you get), which goes about 5 deep.
Summary: Although I find Spedia pretty hard to earn on a regular basis, they do at least seem to be surviving in this very unreliable market, this is mainly due to their very strict stance on cheats, they actually use certain software, to make it impossible to cheat, I have not actually been paid off Spedia yet, although I am about to request my check, as I was waiting on getting up to $50 to request, as they only pay in Dollars, thus meaning you have to take into account any exchange rates at you’re bank. Their web site is very reliable and fast, and the sign-up procedure is quick and easy, so I would say, if you have plenty of patience, you could give “Spedia.net” a go, but don’t forget about the tip I gave you regarding using their Pay Bar.

I have been a Speedia member for around six months now, and I have to say it is a decent but VERY FRUSTRATING program to use. The problem with Speedia is to earn money, you have got to be constantly surfing (and surfing different pages at that) as if you stay on the same page for more than about 40 seconds, the little green light goes yellow (to earn money, the light has to be green). So it’s a case of just surfing aimlessly without having the time to actually read what you’re surfing through. Another bad point about this program is, You don’t seem to get awarded ALL of the surfing time you actually do, as a matter of fact there have been times when I’ve surfing constantly changing pages for about 1 hour, only to check my account and find I’ve only received 15 minutes of that time. On the Plus side of things, they Do seem to have a very generous Payout rate of around 60 cents an hour, and there is other ways to earn money, like Playing games, Signing up for programs, getting emails (I haven’t actually received one of these yet, despite being signed up for months), they also offer UNLIMITED hours and a very decent Referral Down line.

I have never had a problem and have requested and received 4 checks from them, all of the order of $50.
The check takes about 3 months to arrive though but I am fully confident you will get it.

Advantages: actually pays, nice surfbar, also earn by signing up offers, do pay Disadvantages: naughty naughty - cancel members accounts, surfbar doesn't count accurately

Advantages: Good pay rates. Other, easier ways to make money. Disadvantages: Bar is unstable and stops working fast. Still only 32 cents an hour is not amazing
