I hate the middle of the calendar month. I know that somewhere around the fifteenth, the (insert scary music here!) Dreaded Credit Card Bill is going to plop gently through the letterbox. The ritual of the DCCB is etched in stone. I gingerly pick it up from the doormat and begin the monthly ... Read review

Advantages: Great safety features and has the potential to become a very popular card Disadvantages: It is not accepted everywhere(Yet!)
Intro: Nowadays, everyone likes to buy stuff from the internet, as it normally works out cheaper and means you get the product delivered to your door and don't have to go to the shops for it. To do this you need to use a credit or debit card. However, due to the high amount credit card fraud there is now, you are going to need a card that makes it very difficult for the s to access your account, and use your hard earned money.
Safety: One of the ... ...to other cards. Unlike other credit or debit cards, Splashplastic requires you to give your own personal password before you can make a purchase. This makes it very difficult for malicious card s to access and use your account. Also, the card is a kind of debit card, but is in no way connected to your account, unless you specifically ask for it to be, as shown later. This means that if someone, however unlikely, managed to break in, they would only ...

Advantages: Don't have to use credit card Disadvantages: Limited amount of web sites accept it
I think that splashplastic (www.splashplastic.co.uk) is a great idea, especially for younger people who do not have a credit card because they are too young or because they do not want to risk using their credit card online. Splashplastic is a card that you put money in by topping it up from various shops including The Carphone Warehouse. You can set up standing orders which transfers money from your account to your splashplastic card which will ... ...card up yourself. The card can then be used to buy goods online. It is free to join up, and you pay for nothing except the goods you buy. You can buy CDs, books and other goods online, using the card, and without giving your credit card details away, which makes it a safer alternative. There is a vast amount of web sites, which allow you to use splashplastic with more and more web sites signing up for it. ...

Advantages: lots to choose from, any age, offers children more freedom Disadvantages: offers children more freedom, need I say more?
Splash plastic is a relatively new idea based on the increasing demand of products being purchased over the internet. Before Splash plastic it was all very easy, unless you were underage. That meant you couldn't get hold of a credit card, and purchase goods over the internet. (legally). However, splash plastic offers young people a chance to experience world wide shopping from home. Although this does sound appealing, and it is all free, the amount ... ...quite limited. Despite this, all the shops are shown on the splash plastic website, and some even offer a discount if you use you card. How It Works - When you join Splashplastic via the website you submit you reidential details. With these the company posts you a pack containing a card, information and contact numbers, and a activation number. It only took t a short couple of days for me to receive my pack.
