Advantages: Lightweight, Great Screen, HQ Audio, BBC Iplayer Support, Good Value Disadvantages: Over sensetive diamond pad,
...I have purchased my YP-Q1 just a day ago, and yet i am already in love. with some minor problems, which i will address in the following review, as-well as the reasons i love this more than my old iPod.
Samsung have won my heart over, this cracking piece of design is playing the highest quality music to me, with a lasting battery, a phenomenal screen. even ease of use comparable to Ipod. how good this is blows my brain and all in a package 1 Third Cheaper than its equivalent Ipod counterpart
Sound quality is great, with Samsungs very own dynamic natural sound engine which has been in development a while, the Q1 was the first player to have DNse 3.0, this may sound good in words, but wait until you hear the player. its sound quality in FLAC format is absolutely amazing, it makes me lost for words, With MP3 format at 320kb/s it sounds...

Review of Samsung YP-Q1 8GB
Advantages: Lightweight but very functional! Disadvantages: Small HDD? Thats all i can fault really!
...Great little tablet PC with only a few drawbacks.
Firstly the battery life is INCREDIBLE. On battery-save mode you get 12 hours with the big battery!!
The screen is clear, the touchscreen is responsive and accurate. Some people have said the 600mhz version is slow but mine launches fullscreen video whilst web browsing with no problems at all. Worth being careful with the bloatware you install as there's a big selection on the disk, but you dont really need much of it.
As for the downsides... some versions dont have the SD slot, either of the 2 cameras, bluetooth, the fingerprint reader, or the control buttons on the top right of the screen (volume etc) so be very careful to check when you buy - the model number doesnt tell you this!
This isnt a problem with the device, just the way it's sold.
Personally i cant fault the Q1U. I'd have...
Advantages: Easy to carry, easy to use; high quality pictures easily downloaded to your PC; xD "Flash" Memory Card or 8MB resident in camera; can be used as a webcam; battery usage economical Disadvantages: Must use USB cable to access on-camera pictures; as with many digital cameras: action shots are often blurred; uses 2 AA batteries
...Anyone who has noticed the new photographic additions to my reviews (both old and new) could not fail to notice that I have had an addition to my technological arsenal - to wit - a new digital camera!

Advantages: blacks, colours, sound Disadvantages: slow to warm up
...When I first bought my Samsung, I was besotted with it. I have a thing about gadgets and my 'white' one (very rare) was charged a premium for it. I didn't mind as I still to this day have not seen another.
I loved it, it's sold now, but the blacks were excellent, the sounds were brilliant, which is my bug bear. I was worried about the sounds from a smaller TV, and thought I would have to by surround sound. It was awesome. Perefct clarity and when watching films you just got sucked in by the colours and brightness, as well as sounds.
I deeply miss my Samsung but will definitely get another. I see the Series 7's are coming down in price and they look fantastic, hopefully they are as good as the LE32...

Review of Samsung LE32B530
Advantages: Extremely Portable Disadvantages: Low battery Life, No keyboard/Mouse included
...This is a great product from Samsung and microsoft. I have had mine for 3 months now and love how easy it is to use. The Q1 features a touch screen and seems to recognise all of my very scruffy hand writing. I don't use the dial keys that included and would like the input panel to be transparent but these aren't big problems. Only recently have I discovered that you can teach microsoft voice to recognise your voice and let you control your operating system. You can also talk type but this seems to muddle some words up and believes you are saying something you aren't . The Q1 only has a 900mhz cpu, 40gb hdd and 512mb screen and this may seem bad for the price but the other perks totally make up for this mistake. The Q1 also features bluetooth and a mmc card slot. You can also boot straight into av station avoiding the os to play...
Advantages: Samsung, stylish, range of music playback modes; reliable Disadvantages: Nothing lasts forever
...My MP3 is practically my best friend; it goes everywhere with me and I don't think cycling would be the same without it. I once had an IPOD shuffle but it got stolen. Although distraught, I have to admit it wasn't practicable because there was no screen - you couldn't see what you was playing.
I bought a Samsung1GB KP3 which was really stylish and reliable. The obnly problem was that I ran out of room on a 1GB. That's when I decided to get an 8GB YP-Q1 at only £70 from Amazon! Bargain for an 8GB which stores 4000 songs!

Okay, lets describe the product. I treasure Samsung which is reknown for its quality and liability- both my phones are Samsung (G600) and (J700) and they are made really well and are a major leading manufactuer in the technology industry (Phioens, TV, DVD, MP3 etc). I was drawn to the Q1 because I really...

Review of Samsung YP-Q1 4GB
Advantages: Looks, Sounds, And Works Absolutely Perfectly Disadvantages: The On/Off/Lock Switch, Emodio
...EDIT 03/06/2009: EmoDio review expanded
Hey guys, been a while! Reviewing can be time consuming, hence I havn't got around to going any other reviews. But I simply had to, for this wonderful little machine!
The Samsung YP-Q1 comes in memory sizes 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB. For those who don't know the meaning of this, one GB (GigaByte) is 1024 MegaBytes. Your average MP3 file is about 4 MegaBytes, but it's different with me since I listen to metal songs, and on average, these are longer than other genres. But 16GB will be a challenge to full up (I've filled up 14GB, so i'm close!), but i'm a MASSIVE music lover. So it's up to you to decide which size you need, based on your music library. To help you out, each album on average is about 70MB. So get counting!
These MP3 players are a far cheaper alternative to the iPod. A 16GB i...

Review of Samsung YP-Q1 16GB
Advantages: Very compact and lightweight, excellent value for money, great design with brilliant screen Disadvantages: No dvd drive but this is to save on weight and you can pick up an external one for reasonable
...Having previously had a laptop my wife recently decided to buy a new computer for herself as she felt she was not taking her laptop with her due to size and weight and so decided to opt to pick up the Samsung NC10 netbook. So you may have noticed that this is a netbook and be wondering what this exactly means...a netbook is a smaller, lighter weight laptop that is simply designed to handle internet browsing, e-mail and office software. The question I was asked by my wife before she picked this little gadget up was would this be able to play games? The answer is yes but of a limited variety as this is not designed with the same level of specs in as a normal pc or laptop (you would also need to purchase a cd or dvd drive for if you are looking at playing games that use a cd).
Now down to the actual netbook itself...the Samsung is...

Review of Samsung NC10
Advantages: Great camera at a great price. Disadvantages: None at the price, you get a great item for what you pay!
...up to A1/A2 size, I would not notice the difference compared to a cheaper model with slightly less megapixels. Thus, I was directed towards the 10MP Samsung ES55.
I had wanted something with excellent picture quality that I could use in low light conditions, taking pictures in clubs and indoors. I would also use the camera to take pictures for my business. But, more poignantly, I needed something cheap! I'm pretty broke and I had expected to fork out quite a lot for a quality camera to meet my requirements. I'm also quite interested in art, so as a hobby, had intended on taking up a bit of photography. When buying a camera, it would be helpful to make a list of your primary needs and budget and see what falls into your category. I was told this would be the Samsung.
Sorry if I am droning on at this stage, but I really do think...

Review of Samsung ES55
Advantages: Picture quality and clarity. Price for the general public is excellent compared to competitors Disadvantages: Sound is fairly average but only to music buffs like me.
...As an ex employee of the Samsung shop I got to take a few home over the years, for family and friends at discounted rates. They basically wanted us to be able to tell a potential customer who came into the shop first hand experience, which is why I'm writing this now.
The main benefit of the Samsung LE-40B620R is the picture clarity. The frame rate is excellent especially during those films when it is dark such as a horror film. The blacks are deep and it sucks you in. This is where the brightness of the colours stands out compared to the market sister TV from LG.
It may seem biased, but I would take a Samsung over any other main manufacturer. Sony and Philips are just brand names who command high prices without concentrating on quality. Samsung and indeed LG (in most cases) deliver the goods at an affordable price.
Only one bug...
