Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec

Advantages: A great car from all angles
Disadvantages: Not as many extras included as I would have liked

...I am now the proud owner of a ford focus 1.6 zetec and for the first time in many years I have actually found a car that pretty muc suits all my needs. I have spent many a time in cars that are too big, too small, not suitable, not comfortable etc but this is everything I could ask for. I own the three door version but the doors open widely and when the front seat is moved forward there is plenty of room to get anyone in the back, even my mother in law who is disabled. The back of this car is extremely spacious, comfortably fitting 3 large adults in. The boot size is deceiving in that it looks pretty small but is very spacious indeed. Perfect for all those shopping bags as well as a childs pushchair. The actual drive of this car is superb. Mine runs on unleaded and is very economical. I can get over 200 miles to £35...

Ipod shuffle 1GB

Advantages: Easy to use with simple menus
Disadvantages: Perhaps not eneough storage for some

...I was brought one of these ipod shuffle, 1 gb for Christmas. Ｉhave previously owned an ipod nano and have to say that I much prefer the shuffle, I have found it much more easy to use and more easy to attach to my clothing whilst using it in the gym. The battery life lasts ages, at least 7 hours and can be charged up by a wide variety of methods so its very easy to do so whatever the circumstances. It holds approximately 240 songs which is adequate for my needs, and itunes makes it very easy to chop and change the tracks I want on there quickly by connecting to the computer by a usb cable. I previously had the iPod mini which is a lot larger and bulkier than the new shuffle version, and the reason why I decided to downsize. I thought this was great, I was getting the new phone I wanted with freebies, it was even better because I needed a new Ipod as my previous ones were forever breaking, but to tell the truth I didn't have much hope for the Ipod Shuffle either. At 1.62 inches long and weighing half an ounce this tiny ipod is the worlds smallest music player! Although it is so tiny it holds 1GB, which is about 240 songs, which is more than 120 that the old ipod shuffle could hold. The amount of songs that it can exactly hold depends on the size of the song you are uploading to it. If you are uploading bigger files then you will fit less on and vice versa. JBL CONTROL 1 REVIEW

Advantages: Excellent sound for an excellent price! Solid build, 100 watts RMS

...I have owned 2 pairs of JBL Control 1 speakers and they have never let me down! The first pair I owned I gave to my dad as he liked the sound so much! These are bookshelf speakers and measure (H x W x D) 227 x 130 x 140 mm. They can be mounted on a stand, on a shelf or you can also order the wall brackets from jbl. For the size they have an excellent sound, warm solid bass with crisp mid and treble. They are 100 watts RMS and can really handle some power. The speaker is 2 way, comprising of a 4" bass woofer and a 1/2" titanium laminate dome tweeter. These speakers also feature a front mounted bass port. When you play the speakers loud its is astonishing the amount of air that is forced out of the bass ports! Review of JBL Control 1

Focus 1.6 - A fun stylish serious car.

Advantages: Comfortable, spacious for passengers, driver and lugage. Nippy and stylish.
Disadvantages: Its not the ST170 and its not the RS.

...My 1.6 is one of the late early 2001 models and it is a pleasure to drive it was second hand and had two previous owners, I'm not sure how they treated it but when I picked it up it was in pristine condition which to me says that it is a fairly hardwearing car. Its smooth lines and contours make for a slightly sporty look as well as the memories of the Rally focus in all its glory tearing up the WRC. It is a very smooth ride with fantastic handling so if you are a little heavy on the peddle it has the strength to compensate. Acceleration is good and you through the range of the 5 speed gear box, and at the other end of the scale the brakes are hot too mine only has discs on the front and Drums on the back but there is plenty there to slow down the 125 horses that kick out of the engine.
