₪ Bucking the Star Coffee Bean ₪

Advantages: Smells great, tastes great, perfect finish. Home brew cafe style.
Disadvantages: Caffeine addiction is a terrible thing.

...a dark cupboard and never use it all within a week. Taste Well, I had to try this coffee black, just a small cup, to see if Pete really did know his beans. Well yes it seems he does. The coffee has a lovely flavour which is described by Starbucks as nutty and fruity. Smelling the coffee, it is exactly that, nutty first and then a touch of fruitiness, a tad citrussy. The aftertaste is great, not at all bitter. It is not an exceptionally strong coffee but it has plenty of flavour. As Pete the coffee expert said, the finish is just about perfect. This coffee is ideal for Americano (without milk) but it is also delicious with milk. I warm my milk up first in the microwave. Recommend? This coffee is my favourite for home brewing. It saves me a fortune as I'd happily visit the local Starbucks on a daily basis and at £1.80 for a tall latte...

Disadvantages: not funny, humour very simple and mostly slapstick or toilet houmour.

The comedy is obviously aimed at little kids, most of it being stupidly simple, slapstick, or distasteful toilet humour. This wasn't the original Mr Bean's style and although having Teddy as a main charcter, it still doesn't appeal to me. Tesco Original coffee beans

Advantages: Why does every other coffee taste worse and cost much more?
Disadvantages: So cheap, Tesco will either double the price soon or delete it!

...Don't waste your time and money on any coffee product from ANY supermarket or shop: simply try "Tesco Original" beans - not, repeat not, the ready-ground variety. They are the cheapest beans by far - £1.28 for, I think 227g -, and took over where the even better "Tesco Colombian" left off (literally deleted from the range - again, NOT the more colourful and expensive "Tesco Colombian Supremo" pack which is anything but supreme - quite nondescript, in fact, especially for the price. The Original beans pack smell glorious when squeezed and sniffed! Even the check-out people comment on the aroma if you do it casually whilst waiting in the queue, and have bags of taste and character without being overly strong. Mind you, we also have the cheapest and best coffee maker ever - the Toshiba Filtermill all-in-one grinder and percolator!...

...Branston Baked Beans................... I am very partial to baked beans on toast (covered in cheese) or indeed I have been known to eat them cold straight from the can either way I have always bought Heinz as they are literally the ultimate baked bean. However as Branston Baked Beans have been on special offer in Tesco's recently (buy 4 for £1) I snapped them up and was pleasantly surprised. The Branston Baked Bean tin design is a lot different from that of the Heinz tin. Of course it still has a picture of some beans on the front but instead of the Heinz green label Branston's is silver and looks just as good as its rival. The beans inside the tin look pretty much the same as Heinz with the thick red/orange sauce and the tin full to the top with beans and juice. The smell again is practically the same only Branston...

And our choice, the cheap skates that we are in the office, is a Sainsburys own brand beans from the coffees of the world range.
