Advantages: 3.2 mega pixel and is different Disadvantages: Bit larger than any other phone
...The first thing to note on the Sony Ericsson P1i is the large 2.6" 240x320 pixel TFT display - this is now a transflective panel which means that it can be read more easily outdoors.
The Sony Ericsson P1 is a 3G Symbian smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard which can be regarded as a replacement for the troubled Sony Ericsson P990i
On the back it has a 3.2 megapixel (yes a 3.2) with auto focus and flash. it has a 160mb internal memory and can be replaced with a bigger one.
One major drawback is that the Sony Ericsson P1i doesn't support HSDPA, and also the tri-band GSM/single band UMTS network support is a little limiting.
The Sony Ericsson P1i is only a little larger and heavier than the M600 at 106 x 55 x 17mm and 124 grams. Battery life is quoted as 10 hours talk/18 days standby on GSM, 3.5 hours talk/14 days standby on 3G....

Review of Sony Ericsson P1i
Advantages: Great smartphone - features packed and extremely solid Disadvantages: NONE
...After I suffered incredible pain with my old mobile from another famous brand, I reverted to Sony Ericsson P1i and am extremely happy about it.
Difficult to enumerate all the features...too many. It is a smartphone that perfectly balances work and leisure.
Its touchscreen and hand writing recognition and the wide range of office applications makes it as powerful as a pda.
In general the interface is very easy, intuitive and cool.
Its messaging editing is very smart and allows to write messages with word recognition in 2 selected languages...perfect for people like who writes in English and Italian!
It is a Symbian OS mobile, however, it is quite fast and compared to its competitors, it never crashes ( I tried hard, but IT NEVER CRASHES!). Very good is the Sony Ericsson PC SUite, containing sync and useful applications to make...

Review of Sony Ericsson P1i
...a more QWERTY set up, rather than 1=ABC, 2=DEF etc. Also, as mentioned before, typing on the little keyboard that pops up when texting is quite difficult - as the buttons are too small. I think that the layout of the keys (2 letters per button, pushing the left or right side of the button) is a function that should probably be dropped by the phone, as I think it causes confusion rather than ease of use, however I'm sure you would get used to it - again, with time. Apart from all this, I think it's easy to get used to, and it's well laid out, without too much confusion.
**Sound quality**
The sound quality of the phone is pretty good. It's really clear to hear other people speaking from the other side of the telephone, and from the other end, the voice is clear too.
**Price**
The price of this phone can vary, if you are...

Review of Sony Ericsson P1i
Advantages: stylish, economical, reliable, good value Disadvantages: none
...Myself and my son recently visited our local Citroen dealer because we organised a test drive on a 1.1i Saxo First. This was because my son is currently looking for a new car to replace his very reliable but ageing current motor, a Citroen AX.
The Saxo has always attracted my son with its good looks and decent performance, but interestingly enough he was interested in the smallest engine option of the First. There are several reasons for this, all unbelievably and unusually sensible coming form my son!! Firstly the 1124cc engine keeps insurance costs down and also it is very light on the drink when it comes to the petrol pump. Despite this you musn't get me wrong because it is certainly no slouch, the lightweight of the body ensures that. It can accelerate very nippy around town and from traffic lights, a suprise for such a small...

Review of Citroen Saxo 1.1
Advantages: Small engine means its economical, cheap tax and insurance Disadvantages: No power stearing, no ABS, no central locking, no alarm
...Citroen Saxo 1.1i Forte 3 door
---------------
About the car
---------------
This is a great little car that has many good points and a few little niggles.
I purchased this car in September 2000 (X-reg). I chose the colour Poseidon Blue (Metalic). At the time Citroen were giving a years free insurance away with the car, which as a young male driver this I found was invaluable.
The basic on the road cost of the car was around £7200 after the cash back deal. (£800 pounds at the time).
With a 1.1i petrol engine (1124cc) you will find the Saxo usually does around 45 miles per gallon even when you give it some stick. Also having such a small engine the car passes for reduced road tax, which is a big bonus!
Inside the Forte model you will find a CD player with four speakers (2 in front and 2 in back). You will notice...

Review of Citroen Saxo 1.1
Advantages: economical, attarctive design Disadvantages: would have liked central locking, electric windows
...I don't know too much about cars so it will probably come to no surprise to those is similar positions to me that I took my husband along with me so i didn't get ripped off!
After many searches and looking at many varieties of small car I chose a Saxo East Coast,1.1i 3 dr.
The first thing to say about my nippy little car is that I love it. I chose a special edition, which really only meant I had a CD player rather than cassette radio, sporty seats with lovely upholstery and a different coloured seat belt on each seat, yellow gear knob, metallic paint and blue colour on the speed dial etc. Basically the differences were visual rather than any thing different to the mechanics of the car. However, it gave the car a special feel to me.
The car also came with immobiliser, apparantly adjustable steering wheel (can't say this...

Review of Citroen Saxo 1.1
Advantages: Stability, features, appearance, battery life Disadvantages: QWERTY keyboard
...I have always been fond of the P Series from Sony Ericsson. I owned a P910, followed by two P990's. Now I own the P1i.
I've been told that this is not the follow on from the P990, and that another "flip" phone will be joining the P Series shortly. However, since there is no confirmation of that, I feel the need to in parts compare this with the P990.
For those who previously owned, or currently own a P990, I'm sure you would have encountered quite a few problems in regards to the stability of the phone. It got better with firmware updates, but was still less reliable than it should have been.
The P1i shows massive improvements in this area. I have had this phone for almost 3 weeks now, and have only experienced one instance in which my phone was restarted to improve performance. No other crashes have so far occured. I...

Review of Sony Ericsson P1i
Advantages: Has all of the features you'll need, and loads more, easy to use Disadvantages: Has small internal storage memory
...The P1i is the next model up from the P990i and is an all around great phone offering loads of features. It is very similar to Sony Ericssons previous offering (P990i) in many ways but has a much more sleek and stylish loiok about it. Below are the features that it includes that I personally have used and are able to comment on, please bear in mind that it includes other features also but if I have not used them, or have used them little then I will not comment on them as I cannot tell you of the full benefit they offer.
Screen - The P1i offers a large colour touchscreen which is very simple to use and gives you quick and easy access to all the features of the phone. It also offers hand writing recognition technology so that you are able to write messages etc on the screen.
Menu system - The main menu screen offers all...

Review of Sony Ericsson P1i
Advantages: fun to drive, ecomonical, reliability. Disadvantages: prone to head gaskets going if not properly maintained, no power steering
...I LOVE this car, even though I am lucky enough to be able to drive several this is certainly one of my favourites. Its easy to drive, loads of cabin space (I have 4 children and they all fit in comfortably and belted up correctly as with the new laws). Its very responsive and as mine is the sporting version(1.1i) it will amble on the motorway quite happily at 70mph with enough left in reserve for overtaking. The fuel consumption is excellent (£20 nearly fills it) and it will return a average of over 300miles till next fill up!. There is no power steering on this model and it can be difficult in tight situations. Electric windows are standard on the sporting along with a sunroof and alloy wheels. The bootspace is a little small but the back seats fold down if needed. The back windows open too allowing ventilation in hot weather...
Advantages: Display, battery, features, design, size, price Disadvantages: Screen, software(sometimes),keyboard(for some users!)
...SonyEricsson has launched new P-series smartphone P1i.
At the moment this SE smartphone is a leader and a simple flgman, combining style, features and quality.
After unsuccessful SE M600, P1i will be frustrating for most of the users, who hate M600.
Nevertheless, SE P1i is much better and easier to operate.
Of course, P1i`s QWERTY keyboard is shoking at the beginning(my suggestion - try and test hard your P1i before purchase!),but couple of hours and you are ready!
Design of P1i shows, that it is a serious buisness phone - nothing extra here,on first view, but take a look again, and you`ll see magnificend job of designer!Everything combines as it should!
Even the size of the phone doesn`t feels! It was a nice surprise to me.
All the features are right for buisiness and a bit of relax/leisure.
This Symbian OS 9 UIQ3 phone has just...
