Advantages: clear sound, very low noise

...An easy, plug'n'play sound system in cute-looking body with great performance. I was looking for new speakers for my laptop but then I decided I wanted more than just speakers and started searching through the lists of 2.1 and 5.1 sound systems. Originally I was about to buy a 5.1, but I realized such a set wouldn't be smart for a laptop which I wanna carry around and have it now on my desk, then on my bed, then on the floor etc, for which a 5.1 felt too much of cables and mass. I'm happy about my decision since the Logitech X-230 has proven to live up to the expectations based on what they promise, the sound is clear, full and I find it great for both music, games or movies. The subwoofer bass is strong and full, perfectly satisfying for almost cinema movie experience. You can hear hardly any noise and the volume range is wide enough...

Vintage VRS100 - Blue

Advantages: The Wilkinson hardware. The playability. Good value.
Disadvantages: The blue finish hides the flamed maple veneer. Tone+Volume knobs. Serial number format.

...Vintage VRS100 Well first off I paid £150 for this. Ex-demo, so not new, not second hand, think in-between the two. This is a PRS copy and Vintage have pretty much nailed the body shape! It's a Double-cut. Vintage says the VRS means "Vintage Rock Series". The finish I chose for this guitar was the "through blue". A very dark blue finish on the front with a lighter greeny-blue on the back and neck. This finish is semi transparent (you can see the wood). Through blue is now a discontinued colour. For the body 3 pieces of Eastern poplar have been used. A bookmatched flamed maple veneer is glued on top. The top of the guitar is carved while the back is contoured for comfort. The neck is nice and chunky set neck and is made up of 2 pieces of maple with a 1 piece rosewood fingerboard. Upon the fretboard are 24 medium frets...

Logitech X-230 2:1 Speaker System.

Advantages: Compact, deep loud sub, styling of satellites, competitive pricing.
Disadvantages: Much more powerful systems available.

...makes connection to mp3 players and some televisions possible too. A two-way adapter for the signal source was included too. The thin mesh covering the satellites seems to be easy to damage so be careful if transporting, and make sure they don't fall off the desk. Some adjustment of your sound controls on your computer and on the sub and speakers is required to get the levels of bass and volume you require. The knob on the back of the sub doesn't allow you turn turn off the bass completely, but i've never really had a problem with this. I have owned these for 6 months now and they have been faultless. The bass should be run in below 100% for the first couple of weeks to let it "settle-in". I now have a Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit External sound card which these are connected to. Ford F-150, most endurable, reliable truck out there

Advantages: Powerful, safe, comfortable, huge towing ability and masses of space in the bed

There is more than enough power to light up the back wheels and cause some consternation at the lights to those drivers of much lighter so called sports cars. Pick up from the engine is excellent, with only a slight delay sometimes when the 4 speed automatic gear box confuses itself. The Supercab layout has two huge captains seats up front with a 3 seat bench behind accessible through the suicide half doors. Kitted out in black leather, there is more than enough space for 5 adults to travel relatively long distances in comfort. The ride is always going to be 'truck like' as the old school leaf spring suspension at the back is outdated, albeit effective. With a 6.5ft bed there is also no weight over the back end so it can be a little skittish over bumpy...
