The RX1000 wired mouse is a solid value product

Advantages: Responsive and rather stylish for the price!
Disadvantages: The "click" pad not quite wide enough.

...Have just upgraded from a ball mouse so am finding this laser mouse very responsive by comparison. It works perfectly on a Belkin "WaveRest" Gel pad. The mouse is slightly narrower than my old standard issue one, but I have quickly got used to it. The RX1000 is of a predominately plastic feel but has a nice weight about it to make it feel solid enough without being overly-heavy. With its silver-grey shiny streaks offset against the matt-black it actually is quite attractive! The RX1000 is a wired type which literally is just plugged into a USB port and will work. One nice feature is the little silver button on top which acts as a "back" button on your browser to view previous page which I have found useful. A click of the wheel button next to a web page adds a "target" scroll icon that enables really smooth scrolling just by moving...

Canon EOS 1000D - Amazing.

Advantages: light compact good camera
Disadvantages: annoying sized usb

...I think this camera is actually amazing. I'm really weak and found SLRs really annoying to use because my arms just ached after a while, but this camera is light weight and works just as well as any of the really heavy ones! Its also a reasonable size so no more having to take a HUGE camera anywhere. I would recommend the camera to beginners rather than people experienced in photography. It is quite simple how to use it, and then there's always auto mode for people who might not feel as adventurous with playing with things like the aperture. I fully recommend this camera it is worth the money and to be honest worth more. It's a decent camera and your going to get your moneys worth with it....

Dell Vostro 1000

...of Dell laptops always seem to be getting better. I made the decision to buy. The snag I found was this Dell Vostro 1000 was a range that is only available to business customers. This wasn't really a major problem, as I could just buy it as a business. Purchasing as a business has a drawback, but it also has a pro point. The drawback to buying as a business is that the distance selling regulations only apply to consumers, so you cannot send it back within 7 days if you change your mind. The pro point is that the laptops tend to have less rubbish installed on them, than their equivalent consumer models. The Dell Vostro 1000

...I bought the Dell Vostro 1000 for starting a Degree last september. The Vostro 1000 is marketed at businesses and as such is installed with Windows Vista Business. The laptop came with 2GB of RAM which is ample to run vista comfortably. The fact that the laptop is marketed for businesses has made no difference to me. In fact it has probably helped me with my degreee as it doesn't come with all the extra unnecessary rubbish that others do (e.g. solitaire, hearts etc)! The Vostro has been able to handle everything I have thrown at it; every game I have installed, the microsoft ultimate 2007 package, etc. The Dell Vostro 1000 is amazing quality for money and I would thoroughly recommend it, expecially for anyone on a limited budget. The battery once charged does not last for ages but it is not too bad at all; as with most laptops...
