Philips SoundMachine AZ102N - The Soundmaster!

Advantages: Good quality chassis, good sound quality, does everything for the price, looks nice.
Disadvantages: Inbuilt handle could have been better, silver version better than white -preference.

...I needed something to listen to while I worked at home, in the garden and in the office and I needed it quick. Paying a quick visit to my local Bennets I picked up the AZ102N, a CD/Radio by Dutch manfacturers Philips. Because I wanted something cheap and cheerful that would be subject to a few knocks I picked up Bennet's own brand £19.99 stereo which had unfortunately sold out, this was the next cheapest thing but I am glad I picked a reputable brand because it fulfills all of my needs as a radio and CD player. It was very well packaged with a power cable, instruction manual and cardboard packaging (very environmentally conscious there). The picture for this review is silver, mine is light blue and white which does not help with dust or grime. I feel the silver version would have hidden day to day scratches and dust better. Memorial of 9/11 ~ 102 Minutes that changed America ~

Advantages: Unseen footage, superb editing, hard hitting, emotional.
Disadvantages: Reminder of how many people did not make it, Anniversary of 8 years today.

* Al in 88 Minutes *

Advantages: Good characters, Nice action scenes, Red Herrings and twists
Disadvantages: A bit too long, some slow scenes, not the best script.

...88 Minutes I don?t get to sit down and watch a film very often. Due to the kids shouting ?Mum? every five minutes but yesterday evening I managed to have an hour or so to myself. Advantages: Good action
Disadvantages: A bit unbelievable and Leelee Sobieski is a really bad actress

Advantages: It's hard to think of any.
Disadvantages: Dreadful direction, writing and performances and a complete lack of tension.

Advantages: Gripping story, well researched, unputdownable, great characters

...When Nineteen Minutes was released earlier this year, I bought it in a hardback edition as I was quite desperate to read another Jodi Picoult having finished my last book of hers quite a while beforehand. I actually forgot about this one until about 10 days ago when I saw it on my bookshelf, so when I wanted to read a new book I grabbed this one and looked forward to a very good read. Advantages: compelling, though provoking, strong character, great plot

...Minutes asks what it means to be different in our society, who has the right to judge someone else - and whether a person is ever whom they seem to be. The Story The novel isn't really about a high school shooting, it's more about the events that lead up to the 19 minute rampage. 10 minute wonder!

Advantages: Easy to fit it around a busy life
Disadvantages: Probably not for beginners

...I have bought a good many exercise videos and DVD's in my time, many of which have been used a few times before I've grown bored of them and they have ended up gathering dust somewhere. However, I have had this DVD a few months now and I think it's fantastic! If like me you have a busy life style and need to fit a lot into your day, then this DVD is perfect. I really love the fact that it is broken down into manageable bit size sections. There are 5 sections in total each lasting 10 minutes.
