...The Hitachi L37V01 HD LCD TV is a full High Definition television. That means it can display in 720p, 1080i and 1080p modes, unlike a lot of 'HD Ready' TVs on the market which only manage 720p. This means that you get a crisper image from devices which support these resolutions, such as the Xbox 360. I saw this TV on Amazon for under £500, and thought it looked like an excellent deal. I was slightly nervous about buying it, as there were very few reviews available online, but after taking the Tv from its securely packaged box and setting it up, I'm pleased to say there are no problems at all. The quality of the materials used on the TV itself look and feel high quality, but the remote seems a bit cheap, although it's sturdy enough for everyday use. ...it to believe it. The TV completely comes to life in your living room. Its colours are truly amazing and the depth and clarity of the pictures are just astounding. As mentioned, part of the reason is HD 1080p and HDMI, but let me explain some other features which recreate such pictures. 1. 100Hz Scan - this is late in plasmas, but arrived and it reduces the flicker as apparent in the standard 50Hz TV's 2. 30 000: 1 contrast Ratio -- This figure is the test figure of how your blacks are really blacks. The higher the ratio, the clearer and more natural the pictures will become. ...with a perfectly usable and outstanding HD analogue signal picture, although after testing on the PS3, 1080p is not available. 720p is the maximum (quality) output the TV can produce and I recommend this setting for gaming pleasure; the Eray will go to 1080i (interlaced), which still looks the dogs, but the purists out there will want 1080p for Maximum HD pleasure. The difference between (i) & (p)? Well, (i) = interlaced & (p) = progressive scanned picture. Progressive is always better as it is a complete full framed scanned image thrown at your eyes at 50 or 100 Hz or, 50-100 frames per second thus giving the impression of fluid movement… the higher the numbers here, the better the picture. Now, (i) will scan odd and even lines that make up that picture to make a full frame thus resulting in a less than perfect image. The (i) setting works well... Read review

...of the range LCD TV and as such has the top quality IPS -Alpha (WXGA) LCD panel, this panel has the 100HZ motion picture pro, this provides 100 frames per second rather than the standard 50 frames per second like most other TVs including LCD TV's, what this means is that you will be able to watch the fastest movie action or fast paced sports and not suffer from any picture blur/smear as is sometimes seen on some cheaper LCD TV's. A friend of mine has a LCD TV, I wouldn’t say that it was cheap and it is a well known brand, on watching a football match on his TV the fast movement of the players are smeared/blurred as the TV cannot keep up with the action basically. My friend has watched a football match on my Panasonic TX-32 LXD700 and he cannot believe how much sharper and how much smoother the picture is compared to his TV, he is now in the process... ...this end of line 27" widescreen lcd flat television and just had to buy it. The only trouble was, that being end of line meant that you could not order it for delivery, so I did a search of all my local stores until I found one and we reserved it for collection the next day. My husband came home with the tv, we unpacked it and installed it so easily, it was a dream. The Techinical description of this television in the Argos catalogue is Bush LCD27TV005 27in Widescreen LCD TV. The Argos order number is: 529/2150 and we paid £399.99. From what I have read online, this television was retailing at around £600 originially, but at the moment, all of the LCD televisions seem to be 26 or 30/32 inches, so it looks like they are phasing out the 27" ones. Terminology and a tight budget..... Having very little experience with televisions with screens bigger than 14 inches, I was faced with a myriad of terminology concerning brightness, contrast ratio and resolution. However, technology aside, I was also up against a tight budget of £320 or less. ...asked how long an LCD screen could be expected to last, the customer service person said it was unknown as they are just newly out on the market. As Philips themselves do not know the expectancy of this model I have decided not to accept a replacement and have gone for a convential widescreen telelvision until the LCD models are more fully tested. This is only my personal view on this particular model and although I could have been just unlucky I would advise anyone who might be thinking of buying this Philips 30" LCD to ask as many questions regarding their durability as I don't think anyone knows and time will tell as to how they will stand up to regular use. I will be sorry to see it go as I was so impressed with the quality of the picture but at the end of the day, I did not want to have a television that had... Read review

...Well, how can I describe this mini TV in one word? Brilliant. I went to get my post one morning and found a package on the floor. I'd won this little beauty. I've had it now for around 4 months and love it. The 2.3" LCD screen is very clear and the colours are very vivid, even on a less that great signal. It provides a sleek design of silver and wavy lines with clear labels for all 5 buttons and notches. The stand at the back comes out and allows it to sit on your desk at just the right angle without slipping. I've left it on my desk before and it's a nice little addition when the power cuts out and your other TVs don't work. The in-built speaker is very powerful and can become quite loud, which is excellent except for the fact that it seems to drain the batteries pretty quickly. This can be averted by plugging in some...
