Optical amazing!

Disadvantages: The equipment isn't as hi tech as other places

...So after having an eye test at D&A and being scared off by the prices, I booked myself into Optical Express which is where Andrew gets his contacts from. The price of the eyetest was half the price of D&A (£15) to start with and if you purchased glasses afterwards then it would automatically be free. The eye test didn?t seem as hi-tech or extensive as D&A and nor did the equipment seem as up-to-date but the optician was friendly, made conversation and was just a genuinely nice guy and whats more important, the test results came back the same as they did at D&A; I need glasses and I have a stigmatism. The staff here are absolutely amazing and I can?t praise them highly enough. They were not only friendly and personal but they also couldn?t do enough to please me. There were four ladies in the shop and they were all helping me choose...

Wonderful Camera-10x opt. zoom-yet small

...Previously to this Camera I owned the Panasonic LZ3 so when I accidentally dropped that camera breaking the lens, I knew that I would purchase another Panasonic as I had been in love with my old camera. ...Optical Express services, staff and admin. I have worn glasses and contacts for the past 18 years and I have been with many independent and high street stores. I recently moved to Stockport and decided to give Optical Express a try. The first impressions of the store were good. It is very clean and well lit with a good selection of glasses, cleaners and eye care products. The other eye care options such as laser surgery and regular check up reminders are clearly visible around the store. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The advice offered and help given when choosing my new contact lenses - when I switched from daily torics to monthly (one soft, one toric) - was spot on and my eyes are comfier and vision improved. The direct debit scheme is very helpful - I paid a £45 initial cost...

Despite promising the potential to earn rewards and cash through ZoomPoints, the first 10 or 11 surveys they offered me only qualified me for entry into a sweepstake or prize draw. I'm afraid that I very swiftly pull the plug on any survey company only offering entries into prize draws, as in over 2 years of survey work, I have yet to win anything from any survey company prize draw or raffle. I fail to see why I should spend my valuable time completing a survey for which I get little or no reward, when you can bet your bottom dollar the company hosting it is being handsomely rewarded. However, I am most glad that I gave them the benefit of the doubt, as ZoomPanel have proved to be a good...

Advantages: Low cost airline with Premium seating available.
Disadvantages: Only fly from a few airports in UK

...********************************** Firstly we were able to choose our seat, you can do this in Economy at a charge of £15 return. The seat pitch was 36ins. instead of 32ins, may be not a lot of difference but it was very roomy, inside passengers can squeeze past, useful if the other person is asleep. The seats were leather and quite comfortable and when tilted back you still had room . Both have a hot meal and a snack served, but Premium also has complimentary alcoholic drinks, and Economy has to pay - £3.00 each drink, plus we were given a bottle of water at the start of the flight. Increased baggage allowance from 20Kg to 30kg, an important factor for us as we were to be away for over 2 weeks and needed evening wear for the cruise. If you are over the allowance there is a charge of £10 per kilo! Zoom carry free of charge baby buggies, wheel chairs etc. Complimentary headsets...

He had the Lasek procedure carried out, which left him with dry eyes for a couple of months but almost perfect vision. After a couple of months of dithering, and after a trip to Rome getting infuriated with seeing fantastic sites through misty lenses, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I went to the consultation in the bright an clean Leeds clinic. I was very impressed with the friendly and personal and comprehensive service I received. They carried out a number of tests on my eyes and then the consultant sat me down and went through the results with me. I was shown a couple of charts giving light and imperfection maps of my eye.
