Saxo 1.1 Forte

Advantages: nimble with good performance for its engine size, fun handling
Disadvantages: Steering takes getting used to, basic interior, basic equipment

...of performance, the 1.1 is a little slow. If you know how to get the best out of an engine this isnt a problem and you will soon find yourself moving briskly, keeping things on the boil with a few more frequent gear changes than usual. My advice here, get one with a rev counter or if you are impatent dont be tight and get one with a bigger engine! I would reccommend the 1.4 Furio or 1.6 VTR (8v) if you want anything that has all-round performance. Fuel Even driven hard on motorways or back lanes it will always give around 45mpg. On a long careful drives we achieve 50mpg easilly. handling is its best quality - lots of FUN. Dont forget the VTR/VTS performance models are considered amongst the best handling cars around. It is beautifully balanced. My only critisism of the car here is that the ride can get 'bouncy' at times on rough roads...

Citroen Saxo First 1.1i

This was because my son is currently looking for a new car to replace his very reliable but ageing current motor, a Citroen AX. Nippy Saxo 1.1i East Coast

Advantages: economical, attarctive design

...I don't know too much about cars so it will probably come to no surprise to those is similar positions to me that I took my husband along with me so i didn't get ripped off! Citroen Saxo Forte 1.1 W-reg (2000)

Advantages: Great town car, economical to run and have managed to fit an amazing amount of stuff in (including a 6 ft tree out of the sunroof, a complete patio set and a full-on Ikea buy-out - not bad!). Cheap to service and is quite nippy when it isn't full!
Disadvantages: Can't adjust rake of driver seat so my husband has to stand on the clutch pedal to get in! Also, very low braking on the pedal - this is a design issue & technically safe but can feel v last minute.

...I bought a metallic green Citroen Saxo Forte 1.1 3dr in April 2000 for the princely sum of £6k which was £1200 off the list price at the time because no-one seemed to want metallic Woodland Green. It has been a very reliable car - now done 45K miles and apart from one warranty niggle (airbag light faulty) and the stepper motor having just had to be replaced it has been fine. The positives are it is cheap to run, rarely needs oil / water etc topped up and we have only just had to replace two of the Michelin tyres it came with. Great for town driving - a bit Fiat Punto on the motorway - feels a bit tinny for passengers, but handles fine. Samsung NV11

Advantages: 10.1 million pixels, numerous zooms, automatic shake reduction
Disadvantages: touch buttons activate when aiming to take a picture

...I was recently looking to buy a new digital camera and saw the samsung NV11. It is a sleek black camera which looks different from the usual stainless steel slimline cameras I had looked at. It has 10.1 million pixels and many features to help take great pictures such as the automatic shake reduction. When I received it, I was faced with a big user manual on the software disc provided. However, I started taking pictures on the automatic mode and downloaded them on my computer. I was amazed at the picture quality especially when blowing them up. I will leave the manual for when I want to do something more with my pictures. I was surprised at the ease of use for standard picture taking and the incredible quality but I would recommend using the software provided as some of the pictures can look blurry when displayed on other picture...

A little comments about Citroen Saxo 1.1 SX

Advantages: superb fuel economy, low maintainance cost, value of money, many features, cheap tax and insurance
Disadvantages: less room space for passenger, slightly poor in comfort and handling

...just bought a Citroen Saxo 1.1SX (1996, P reg), 2 weeks ago. The most satisfied of this car is the fuel consumptions level, no matter you are in city or non-city driving, it still the leading compared with rivals like Renautl Clio 1.2, Vauxhall Corsa 1.2, and Fiat punto 1.2, Ford Fiesta 1.3, etc. I managed to get a ride about 120 miles just for 10 pounds petrol price ( It was 95.9 per liter at that time). For the comfortable, it slightly poor due to there is lacking of room space for the rear passenger. whereas, for the performance, i don't feel it is very responsive for the pick-up but once it reached to 60 miles per hour, the performance started to taking place here. There are quite alot of features of it like electrical windows, sunroof, immboliser,alarm system,central locking etc. With the low price, its rarely to get this...

Barracuda 7200.11 AVOID at all costs

Disadvantages: no reliability what so ever, will definitely break unless you update firmware
