Rangemaster toledo 110 cooker

Advantages: Looks really smart and efficient
Disadvantages: None that spring to mind

...We bought a rangemaster toledo 110 cooker for our new kitchen earlier this year. We decided on the colour of silver rather than stainless steal as this is easier to clean and wipe. The double oven is brilliant and practical. One is fan assisted so is really fast the other is just conventional. They are both large and can easily cook Christmas dinner for a family of 14. Both have large windows on the doors which is brilliant for checking on foods. Built in oven lights too. It also has a separate built in grill. If you need to grill something small you just switch on half the grill - how cool is that? The built in hob on top is lovely. We have electric so naturally have a ceramic hob. This too is easy to clean. There are 6 halogen rings. Two of which you can half on or full on. Beware of scratches though on the g;ass hob. All in all...

Dual fuel Rangemaster cooker - for great cooks

Advantages: Looks good, cooks well economical in gas use

...A bit of history behind our cooker: We had our entire kitchen renovated two years ago and as part of this big change we wanted a really nice cooker as we both really enjoy cooking. Our house in an old farm house and we thought initially it would be great to have an oil fired Aga as it would run the water and keep the kitchen toasty warm. We went off eagerly to visit the Aga show room to find out about the costs and installation involved? well, we had to back step big time as the Aga alone was going to be more than the quote we had for the rest of the kitchen and then we had to get it installed. Big re-think needed so we looked around a number of options. Part of the re -fit and putting in a bigger cooker meant taking out a chimney and putting in a support to hold up what was left of the chimney in order that we could fit the cooker/range...

Morphy Richards Rice cooker - Too clever for me!

I settled on the Morphy Richards 48744 as to be honest that was the only one offered on the fact finders website and I thought I would use up some of my points. . The Rice and Pasta cooker is a mirrored silver colour with black handles with a toughened glass lid with a black handle and a steam hole. The cooker is 21 cm high without lid or 24cm with the lid and 28cm in diameter plus handles makes it 36cm. The cable is 90cm long. Our range cooker

Advantages: large , easy to use
Disadvantages: fan oven is very low down . clock has no memory during power cuts

...A nice looking oven at a good price, ours is the dual fuel version running the hob from a gas bottle outside the house. It has a fan oven,a normal oven, a grill and a warming drawer. The hob has some nice heavy cast iron pan racks these look really good and support the pans nicely. Also included are a griddle plate which sits over two burners and a wok support to sit over the front middle burner( the hottest one). both of these have been used and are a worthwhile addition. We mainly use the fan oven, this works well and is easy to clean, Its a shame the fan oven is the lowest oven, as the conventional oven that we rarely use is higher from the ground and much more convenient to use. The grill works well but is no bigger than a grill on a standard oven. In fact no individual area of the range is bigger than a standard 500mm oven...

A great buy

Advantages: Easy to use and keep clean. Fan oven rapidly heats up. Looks great and cooks like a dream.
Disadvantages: No safety cut out on gas rings.

...Have owned a Toledo 110 dual fuel in gloss black for almost 12 months now. Firstly, it looks the part-stylish and blends well with the modern stainless steel look as well as more traditional kitchens. Everyone admires it! It's easy to clean. The rings just disassemble and can be put in a bowl of hot water and washing up liquid, and the rest of the hob can be wiped down. You can use a whole array of domestic cleaners-the instruction manual tells you which ones can be used on what bit. Both ovens work well. The fan oven bakes cakes beautifully every time and the rate at which it heats up to temperature is amazing. The conventional oven is great for cooking fish, meat etc. The overall oven capacity is fantastic, and having a separate grill is a godsend as it means that you can use it at the same time as both the ovens. Top of the Range

Advantages: Two ovens, controllable heat, brilliant gadgets
Disadvantages: hardly any but grill not being eye level can be a pain occasionally

...When I bought this I was bowled over by it. Certainly compared to a normal 4 ring cooker and oven it is fantastic. It has 4 normal gas burners and a fifth double burner with wok attachment which is pretty hot. Great for stir fries, less good for gentle simmering e.g. of soup pans because even the lowest setting will cause a soup to burn and stick to the bottom of the pan as it is too hot. A shame as it is the largest of the rings, and size-wise fits a big soup pan or pressure cooker really well, leaving the other 4 rings free for other things. This is a minor issue though. There is a good variety in the kws of the 5 different rings so you can always find the right one once you know the cooker. It also has a slightly useful electric hotplate which I do use e.g. for keeping something warm whilst you dish up other things, and a place...
