A 12 month contract for sore thumbs!

Advantages: £55+ of services and a free phone for £19 a month
Disadvantages: My previous review on this was confusing!

...This is my experience based from committing to a 12 month contract at www.o2.co.uk. There are many different options, based on a texter or a talker! Why move to contract? The main reason I switched to contract was because I wanted a new true tone, camera phone, I wanted bluetooth, radio and everything else flash! After being with o2 on their payg (pay as you go) package with 300 free texts/300 free WAP minutes for a long time they decided I was worthy. The hardest thing I found was deciding which phone to have, the choice is so varied, and most were free (even the new Samsung D500.) Which package? I opted for the 50 package as I very rarely call anyone, finding the crazy frog on my phone telling me I have a text more pleasurable (I know, so sad!) TMobile Freetime 750 12 months

Advantages: Free talk time in the evenings for 12 hours
Disadvantages: cant change your deal until the end of the contract

...I ordered my phone off of the internet on the TMobile website (http://www.tmobile.co.uk) as they had a special offer on my phone, the Nokia 3100 and this particular price plan for just £13.99 per month as well as 100 free text messages (normally 50 free text messags per month). I recieved my phone the very next day and it was very easy to assemble- unlike my other Tmobile pay as you go phone- I didn't get any free credit when I registered and so I had put some money on to the phone inorder to make a call. which I must admit did put me out slightly. How have I found it so far? Quite good. I was inspired to go to a mix it kind of network as it should enable you to cut down on your spending. O2 100 12 month

Advantages: in hindsight- NONE, well free phone I suppose
Disadvantages: poor value, worse service, bad network

...At first this deal looked reasonable and I got it for my wife because some kind soul had broke into her car and nicked her pay as you go mobile. The plan looked similar to the deal she was getting on O2 pay as you go but there was a free phone so it meant that we wouldnt have to pay out hundreds for a new one This was the point at which I hastily ordered the phone and it came quickly and everythiing was ok up til here After comparing the contract tariff to the pay as you go in detial, I realised that the deal was not that good and that the pay as you go package was a lot better value for money. Nevermind I thought, at least the wife got a free phone so in the long run the price would be the same as shelling out for a new phone and staying on pay as you go. 3 Pay monthly contract: A positive experience

Advantages: Good coverage, Lots of anytime, any network free minutes, great free phone
Disadvantages: none

...I joined 3 (pay monthly) from T-Mobile pay as you go 6 months back. I am completely satisfied with their service, the free phone and the tariff. I think they provide one of the cheapest tariffs. Yet the service is very good. I used the phone in South, South-East and South West region and never had any coverage issue. I went to Scotland for a few days and did not have any coverage problem there either. It works fine even in fast moving train/bus/car. I can also browse internet or send MMS (by paying extra as these are not included in the free time) without any problem. I pay £15 for free 500 minutes anytime any network talk time and 100 any network texts. I had to sign a 12 month contract. I also got a fantastic Motorola Razor V3 phone free with this connection. I heard from my 3 user friends that they offer new free phone...

The Plan It self costs £20.00 a month but as a Long Time Customer i have been given an 25% Discount so i pay £15.00 a Month The Everyone 500 Plan Gives you 500 Off Peak (7PM- 7AM, Weekends, bank Hoiladays etc) to ANY UK Network and land Line. You also get 50 Free Texts a Month which you can use anytime of the day. With T-Mobile you get Free Voicemail where you can access all the Time for Free. T-Mobile Also Offer the Web N Walk add on for £7.50 a Month but if you will use the internet on a daily basies i would get this add on but if you don't use it or may use it one or two times then its capped at £1.00 a day. Early impressions from those longer-term reviews based on the last 12 months usage by a magazine 'staffer' don't seem to be unduly worrying, even for the upmarket VTS variant, despite the fact that French cars in general don't exactly figure in the top league for reliability. The car's large dependency in a central computerised CPU does bring advantages which hopefully outweigh any doubts I may have. For example, if you were to take in into your head to fit even wider tyres, you wouldn't have to put up with heavier steering for ever more - the car's electric power steering can be reprogrammed to take more of the load.
