Nokia 1600 - Handy Little Phone

Advantages: Basic, but good for people not used to using mobiles

I was just looking for something cheap and cheerful that kept me happy when I had to use my back up plan, so I took him up on his offer and he bought me the Nokia 1600 into work the next day. The Nokia 1600 is a very basic phone however would be ideal for someone just starting to use a mobile phone. I find that the technology these days is a little too advanced for the likes of our dear old grandma's, mine has my last Sharp phone that I had and ideally she would be better off with the likes of the Nokia 1600. Not extremely stylish to look at and something I wouldn't choose as my main phone. They come in various colours however the one I have is grey and black. On the reverse it has the Nokia and also the orange logo to establish which network it is meant for...

The Nokia 1600

Advantages: Price, easy to use

Advantages: Anything you want thats any good
Disadvantages: May be difficult to find if you dont know Newcastle

...Spin have been going for about ten years, although that's something thats based on my memory rather than fact. They are probably one of the best music shops around and specialise in quality rock especially The Grateful Dead and Frank Zappa. But thats just a tiny part of their appeal. They carry a lot of stock that the majors don't and are a lot more helpful if you are looking for a particular item. My recent purchases have been The Nice Immediate Years triple set , and The Fairport Convention Cropredy triple box, both costing a mammoth £12.99 each. If you're looking any rarities or boxed sets, especially from the major American Groups af the sixties and seventies then this is your place. The web site is extremely informative as well , born as much out of a desire to inform people, as to sell music. An excellent record shop....

It?s a condensing model which was great, no plumbing in a hose to vent or messing around with piping. Had a good selection of programs, and wash temperature easily selected. It worked fine for the first year, and then the dryer packed up. We only ever really used the dryer in winter and then it was mostly just underwear washes so I can?t even say it was used a lot. There are only 2 of us in the house, and we?d do 1 load a week with the dryer. Basically the heating element seems to have gone on it. A really good spinning rod

Advantages: Toughest freshwater spinning rods money can buy, well made, doesn't cost a fortune
Disadvantages: Nothing (yet)

...a little bit to create versions suitable for freshwater spinning..... and since I'd wanted one of the boat rod versions since I first saw one in a Shakespeare Catalogue in 1993 / 1994, it wasn't long before I bought one of these spinning rods. The following year (2003), my Cousin's son James wanted me to teach him to fish....... and he ended up getting a cheapo Rod & reel combo, which not to put too fine a point on things, was crap. Sometime around April / May 2004 came his first Freshwater fishing session (all other previous sessions being next to Whitby Swing Bridge)....... and as his fluorescent yellow saltwater spinning rod wasn't really suitable for the task in hand (and absolutely stank of sea baits) I lent him my old spinning rod........ though the little tackle tart soon took a liking to my smaller Shakespeare Ugly Stik Gold 6ft...
