...This is a little pricey for what it is you might think but mine has been really worth the money. It's so handy if you want to keep your laptop in a rucksack or quickly take it somewhere, it really does prevent the scratches and spills without being at all bulky. I have a MacBook Pro 17" and it fits perfectly, be careful if you have a not so slim laptop as it may not fit. I also use it on my lap to prevent the MacBook from burning my legs and am using it this minute, I've tried using cushions in the past which doesn't really work! I really do think it is one of those 'must-have' purchases when you buy a laptop, especially one as pretty as the MacBook! Don't worry about the zip scratching either as it has a protective flap, they thought of everything!...

Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

You can already get more for your money than when we bought it just a few months ago, so check the current offers (make sure to look around the Web site, as I found by clicking on various offers I got the same machine for less) You can also now get a free upgrade to Windows 7 when that comes out later this year. It's fast, cute, and does everything we need. You can get it in a variety of colors, either for free if there is an offer on or for about 30 quid otherwise. Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks). Because Dell are so good at allowing customisation, you need to be very careful when you buy that you actually get the one you need - they are not all the same, so you can't just go into a shop and say "Give me your Inspiron 1545" - you need to be sure that it e.g. has a suitable processor, enough memory and a big enough hard drive for your needs. Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic.
Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about

...it can be carrioed round in a smaller laptop bag rather then one that is quite aqkward. It is up to you whether the positives out weigh the negatives, but in my opinion there are notepads out there which are of better value with better features. However they mya not look as nice or be so simple....
