When I tell you that my first TFT screen, an Illama 15 inch, cost me £400 - and that was trade price - the first thing you will realise is that the price hasn't just dropped, it has hurtled like a forest full of lemmings. .... Enough of my self-back slappery, on with the opinion! A few weeks before I returned home, I wanted to make sure I was ready to use my PC to it's fullest as soon as I returned. What I was ideally looking for was one that was bigger than my previous monitor, a 15" CTX model which served me very well for 5 years. I surfed my usual selection of PC component sites, and found two monitors which tickled my fancy - a Hansol 19" at a very reasonable £130 ish, and a nice CTX 17" at just under this price. I took a few days to browse these sites, to make sure I had the best price, and the best monitor when I suddenly saw on eBuyer.com a CTX monitor for £136. First impressions are that the amount of desk space you save is vast and the image quality is very impressive. You have the choice of either using the VGA interface or the newer DVI interface, whichever you choose you are guaranteed a crisp image. --Installation-- This monitor is extremely simple to set up even a computer novice would have no problems with it. ...one we all have I am sure, the simple act of browsing the web. Until I got my hands on this 19 inch monitor I honestly didn?t realise just how bright and attractive some websites actually are. The fact that you can see the whole page in Chrystal clear colour rather than having to scroll to the side as I did with my 15 inch dell monitor which didn?t display the colours nearly as well really makes a big difference. I also find that when I was viewing pages with video ads and the likes on my old dell monitor they could be very pixelated but no longer do I suffer that with this Philips monitor which I guess is again down to response time although I am no expert. Quite often especially during the football season my other half takes over the TV leaving me to watch TV or DVD?s on my pc which up until now wasn?t nearly as good as the TV itself...

I had intended to buy a decent second hand model but on visiting the dealer, I was so impressed with the estate version of the 1.9tdi Fabia, that I took the plunge. Having since had 100% reliability, economical fuel consumption , the added bonus of quick off the mark acceleration for an exceptionally value for money price, I am glad I took the plunge as I have not regretted my choice of car. Capacious boot space that takes all my golf clubs, trolley and more without having to lower the rear seats is also something to appreciate.
