The cover is actually a bland brown cover, with a darker brown round circle, with the words " 1970-number 1's" in the centre. The circle in the centre I presume is supposed to be a representation of the old 7inch vinyl records. It also tells you and the CD cover in nice White letters, that amongst the artist there is, BLONDIE, SUZI QUATRO, WIZARD, T-REX, HOT CHOCOLATE, and MUD! Not a bad line up eh? The actual CD is white in colour, and has printed on it, number1's, 1970 in a light brown as well. I expected to see pictures of each artist inside the cover when opening it, but was disappointed to see that it only contained, the track listings. However you can reverse it and use the other side as poster if you so desire! WHO RELEASED... Read review

Advantages: It's a funny, moving, evocative novel...
Disadvantages: It's especially for those growing up in the 1970s...

Advantages: Excellent set of special features. Good 70's themed menus. A beautiful film overall.
Disadvantages: The film's plot develops at a snails pace.

.... Throughout "Jackie Brown" theres an underlying mood focused on growing old, brought to life particularily by a conversion between Matt and Jackie some way into the movie. 1970's Nostalgia also plays a massive part in the film, when Forster's character hears The Delfonics play in Jackies apartment, hes so struck by the music that he buys their greatest hits on cassette the following day. The entire soundtrack is 1970's based, with such gems as "Strawberry Letter 23" by Brothers Johnson, the Delfonics' "Didn't I Blow your Mind This Time" and "Across 110th Street" by Bobby Womack. The music included does a lot to enforce the nostalgia built up as the story progresses. The film is quite lengthy, standing at just over 2 hours 30 minutes. My only real critique is that the plot develops extremely slowly, some scenes seem to be included to simply set... Read review
